In my opinion … as junk journaler’s we like our rectangles for easy symmetry, using rectangle scraps, gives us more control over the final outcome of our shapes. Lucky for us, because we start with rectangles, that’s what we usually end up with in the end. Love this series … it’s allowing room for your artistic mind to truly shine.

I agree about golden splatters and butterflies solving every problem. This series has been one of my favorites, and I can't wait to try making a true and pure junk journal. This series is truly inspirational. I loved it!!

Your friendship and partnership with Barbara is so delightful. I enjoy the ongoing references from both of you. Love how the journal came out! And your English is absolutely fine, you would be surprised how many native English speakers mix up words and get pronunciation "wrong", English is a very easy language, not to learn as I know that is hard, but in the sense that it can be easily understood even if tenses are wrong or words are left out, or a word is close to but not exactly the intended word, believe me we are used to many different accents here and English as a second language. Never worry about getting it "exactly" right, you are a wonderful communicator.

Oh Luise you made me laugh when you told Barbara that your backgrounds were too busy 😅but I actually think it is a reflection of what has been happening with your renovation and move. They are both hectic and so are reflecting in the journal. Really enjoying this even with the limited supplies forced by your packed supplies.

Your English is so much better than my non existent German that all I want to do is send tips and translations on English instead of criticizing you. Great stuff as always, Luise!

Good evening Wonder Woman. Series is both plural and singular. It’s called a “0 plural”, meaning you don’t change its form from singular to plural. Your English is great. Love this “Series”.

I love this project so much 😍 I am an aquarius like you, we share the birthday and acording to my kids we are notorious to not read instructions and go our own ways. Seeing you smach the gold pen and make stains made me think of that and made me laugh "no need for instructions, just whack the heck out of it" 😂

Hello. I found out your channel exists when you first made items for Tim Holtz lives. I know there is a more proper way to say that, but at this moment I'm not sure what that would be. Anyhow, I'd just like for you to know that what I learn from you is how to make my plain journals into extensions of what I feel like when I'm working on them. Or making my homemade journals a lot less boring. I really appreciate you sharing on your channel not only what you are using on your pages, but also why you are using the items and what effect you hope to achieve by the ways you apply those items. Thank you very much for being an excellent teacher!!

This is turning out amazing Luise! But I had to laugh - here in the US schools no longer teach cursive writing and haven’t for years. The joke is that’s how to hide info is to write it in cursive, it would confuse a whole generation! Your faux writing reminded me of that! 😂😍 I hope this makes sense!

This is incredible Luise!! It s so random yet specific if that makes sense. You have a vision in your mind and are presenting it so well. I LOVE it!! Love the big bumps of splatters. This is so much fun watching you create this!! Hope things are going well in your apartment. Can't wait to see your craft area set up. Be sure to take some time for YOU to relax and take a breather. HUGS!!

Lol, I love rectangular scraps as well, but I'd use a triangular one for a corner cluster. A scrap is a scrap is a scrap!😂 I can't even believe that "we" as a community keep and use trash! My hub use to roll his eyes, but now he understands and has contributed. 😂

Hi Luise, Series has no plural like Sheep has no plural. That's because it is a word that encapsulates a collection of items or events that span over a chronological period of time. If you say "Siri," then everyone will think you are talking about the Apple voice on the iPhone.

Hello again, at about 28:24, "meduim well" is what you say when you are describing to the waiter how you want your steak cooked for dinner. As in "rare", "medium-rare", "medium", "medium-well" and "well done". I think you could say, "I almost like this," or "my execution of this motif is about 50% of what I intended," or "This motif turned out so-so. It could be better." Or you could also glue in a cooked steak, but I don't think you would like that (I don't think I would either, please stick to vegetation and botanicals!)
