reminds me a lot of how animating already made drawings is like! the first step is separating all the layers of the drawing like it was done here but digitally, and then animate them separately

Nikolai is one of my favorite characters because of his design. In my opinion one of the best character designs from bsd

This looks awesome!! I’m actually doing a layered art thing right now for the first time and seached layered anime art because I wanted to see if anyone else was doing it! The way I was doing it I know know is too hard and why it’s taking a week😭I’m doing like each individual hair strand haha, and I put the facial features like eyes and stuff on top instead of behind ahh. And I’m doing nenkanalice and she has neck frills and I folded it and regret it lol smart of you to draw it! I’ll have better work flow next time thanks to you! 🎉
