I gave my granddaughter a sewing machine for Christmas. I am going to teach her how to quilt, and I think this will be her 1st quilt to try.

I wish full recovery for you. If you are concerned about your dexterity and safety when cutting fabrics, check out the Stripology rulers produced by GEDesigns. (They are a bit pricey, but don’t settle for knock-offs … the real deal is worth every cent). Gudrun Erla (the GE in the name) invented these very unique rulers and Kimberly has, in fact, had Gudrun on as a featured artist in the past. They ensure precise cuts and add a safety feature (in my opinion) because the rotary blade slides through a channel instead of the outside edge of the ruler.

This might be my favorite short cut quilt. Happy New Year to Kimberly and the FQS family! You're the greatest ❤️❤️

Hello Joyce! You could if you'd like but you will have different sized blocks. Trimming down accounts for starching.
