Probably the serial number had survived and looking in achieves you may find a person to whom it belonged, and even you can make a video os sending this artifact to family of this person to whom it belonged. For example if I will receive a personal item of my ex grandad who died in WW1 and his photo it will be a grate treasure to me , im shure this pistol have a whole story that it saw in past century.

Excuse the question but I might have missed something, however the ‘bore’ on the barrel does not match the cylinder !, did you replace or redline it?.

still not functional. wouldnt call it a restoration, only a cleaning.

This entails way more than cleaning, it's a restoration functional or not

@@gabekenyon4882 a restoration is to restore something back to how it was when it was made. this is a conservation/cleaning, as it is not restored back to how it was fresh off the assembly line.
