You can’t tell me you don’t hear the snares, the tempo, the kick drums, and Ginuwines “Pony” talk box effect. That’s definitely Timbaland from the 90s. Add that to a uptempo 2024 “I just wanna rock” beat that’s double timed and you have this.

Nah not to me. Yall don’t hear the “Pony” talk box instrument? Yall don’t hear the Timbaland snares? And maracas in sync with the snares. Those are the signature 90s sounds. The moment the bpm changes to double time in the middle of the verses, THATS THE 08 sound you both are talking about. But when the beat is “slower”, thats 90s sounds of the 90s I was talking about.
