This is an orchestral version of the popular song Lay All Your Love On Me, by ABBA; I also adapted a few other JoJo/Anime reference songs into this mix, did you catch any of them?
My approach for this track was very similar fundamentally to how I approached my Crucified arrangement, you might see similar inspirations and uses of instrumentation throughout the track that are stylistically and compositionally quite similar :)
On top of that, I have used almost every single compositional technique that I have learned so far and thrown it all into one huge video of music!
I made this entirely from scratch :)
(The choir was the biggest challenge to pull off since East West's Hollywood Choir has a pretty hard-to-use Wordbuilder that I decided to use for lyrical segments. I did not use this choir for all of the track as it really struggles with dynamics)
I used Musescore 4 to notate all of my ideas and Reaper to create the whole track.
As a beginner, this project took me approximately WAY TOO LONG hahaha, from transcribing to getting very frustrated with the wordbuilder, all the way to polishing the final mix, this was a process that lasted about 4 weeks.
