Laxmi Kant Pyare Lal' s name is synonyms with melodius music. My most favorite music composers but sorry to say that they were underrated by the film industry. They didnt get the recognition and appreciation they deserved

There is some politics in Bollywood so they don't receive national awards for his music for films " Milan" deserve National Award the music composed by the due which suit the subject but miss national award anyhow they received 7 filmfare awards the most filmfare awards after Shanker Jaikishan. The national award committee also ignore the due for Padmashri. L P compose beautiful music also B grade films Parasmani Sathi Savithri Lootera many more they received their first filmfare award for Dosti over competion Raj Kapoors musical blockbuster Sangam. SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM is all time best musical score in their career. Their classical tune for title song of the film Aye Din Bahar Ke evergreen hit.

Subhash Ghai ki sabi movie me music diya hai Bollywood ka mahan composer hai
LP was one of the best music director Bombay film world had ever produced. Both of them worked under another great maestro Hemant Kumar as a co-musician in his team.

These two great music directors were appeared when other two great music directors Shanker and Jai Kishan were loosing their charm specially after Jai Kishan's demise. They were fresh so their music was also, so they captured the film industry soon after their arrival.

They were good in folk bases songs and orchestration. Their songs were low in melody however. Barring movies like Dosti, Dost, etc..

Main aapse poori tarah sehmat nahi hun ... Mera manana hai ki film making ho ya song making, ye ek team work hai, sabka mila jula effort jab sab milkar apna 100% dete hain to wo rachna amar ho jaati hai
Shorowat ke gane 60s ke bajana chaiya tha ju Rafi Sahab Lata Mangeshkar Ji ke the sida hawa hawai par ponch gai ap
As per my reading knowledge LP never worked with Shankar Jaikishan (Even though they were inspiration) and O.P.Nayyar.

According to laxmikantpyarelal.com Laxmikant ji played Mandolin for many MDs including SJ and OP. Pyarelal never worked for both of them

LP were Assistant to RDB in two films....Chhote Nawab & Bhoot Bangla.....Laxmikant played Mandolin for almost all MDs as a musician
