I’m so grateful that you took the time to do this. My 17yo daughter has a transfer to Terminal 6 - first time flying solo. This is a big help. I appreciate you.

Really appreciate this! I'm fine with navigating and fly int. a lot, but I've never gone from TBIT to a domestic terminal and doing this straight off a loooooong haul for the first time will be sensory overload, so having this is incredibly helpful. Thanks for taking the time (and the video)!

Oh great! You have this video. I was just watching it in reverse from T6 to TB.
This is a very helpful video

Very helpful thank you. I arrive on the A380 from MUC on Tuesday and only have a 2 hour layover to Terminal 7 for a connecting. I worry immigration will take a long time
Wow I'm going to LAX tomorrow for my flight and I really wanted to play the piano in Terminal 7 but I didn't realize how far it is from Terminal 1... Guess I won't be able to play it lol
Hi there thank you so much for your video, it's extremely helpful. I have a question I am arriving into Terminal B and have an hour to get to Terminal 7, so where you have started Would this be after you collect your luggage? Or would you have to collect luggage exit and enter again through TSA to get to your starting point?
Handy video thanks but can I please just clarify something. I will be arriving in to the TBT terminal and have a connecting flight from Terminal 4. Once I pick up my bag, clear customs and immigration and hand my bag in to the bag transfer desk in TBT, do I need to go through security before entering the tunnel system? In other words, does this bit happen before we get to the point you stated your video at?
How do you get from the customs area (must go up the walking ramp?) to that area that you show the start of (near the shops)?
Thank you so much for this detailed video! I have a tight transfer tomorrow from Tom Bradley to Terminal 7, and knowing the route in advance is very reassuring! I'm wondering, did you arrive to TBIT on an international flight? If so, did you need to go through a TSA screening, or only Customs & Immigration? I'm debating whether it's safe to purchase any liquids at the Duty Free before I leave, or if I'll have to surrender them to the TSA when I land in order to transfer to my next flight.

How did your connection go? With Covid it’s been quite some time since I’ve arrived on an international transfer but I seem to recall having to go thru security again so any carry on liquids may be limited.
which floor is connector with other terminals?
Your content is just awesome mate really appreciate content with so much info ,we are travelling from Australia next month and I wanted to know if you could answer this question. The question is once we clear security and customs and bag drop from our qantas flight we can proceed thru to terminal 6 via tunnels and terminal 4 without going thru TSA again,so long as we stay airside and don’t exit thanks in advance

Thanks for watching! Have a look at this video here. Once you clear customs when arriving on an international flight you will be outside of security and won't be able to directly access those tunnels right away as they are air side. Looking back I wish I turned to the right near the end of my video to see the connection to other terminals instead of going outside. Next time I arrive at LAX I'll do that for sure. In other words unfortunately you'll have to go thru the TSA again after you arrive. I've noticed this arriving in other countries as well on connecting domestic flights. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ia6Ix9ycdZjNYZM.html
Hi! Just found this video and it's super relevant. I'm trying to estimate the TOTAL walking time from the bridge entrance in Terminal 7 to tunnel exit in Terminal 4 (airside, no international flights). All I can find is that it takes 5-8 minutes to get between terminals, but I don't know if this includes the walking time through each terminal. Any advice you can provide is very much appreciated!

I have another video here walking the other way, perhaps it might help... kzread.info/dash/bejne/l6qntaWtmKfLlZc.html The walks are in real time with nothing cut out of the video so maybe you can time the part of the walk you need.
From Ter B to Ter 7 can move to there by bus or not. Thanks bro
I’ve got a 1.5 hour layover in lax heading to Vegas from Sydney so when I land in lax I go through customs then I can just walk from terminal b to 7 without going through security again? Will 1.5 hours be enough time?
I was under the impression that to enter TBIT you have to show your boarding pass to cross the point of no return, but from this video it looks like any domestic passenger can enter TBIT

Yes I never thought of it that way but I have been at the star alliance lounge there as a domestic passenger. That’s right I was there without having a flight out of one of those gates.
Need to travel from Terminal B to Terminal 7
Thank you for your video. I'll be flying in from Australia next month arriving at the Tom Bradley Terminal then going on to Terminal 7 to fly United to Denver. I have osteo arthritis and have difficulty walking for the distances shown in your video. Is there a shuttle bus i can take, and if so, what do I need to look out for, and where to find it? Thank you 🙂

Great question. There is a land side shuttle bus that goes between all the terminals before you enter security. And it looks like there are some shuttles airside as well after security depending on your connection. upgradedpoints.com/travel/airports/getting-between-terminals-lax-airport/

@Adventures on the Road thank you su much. Very much appreciated.
Actually "if you're landing at LAX on a flight" to that terminal you won't be going through there (0:30). For international flights, you'll be funneled to a walkway above and then an escalator that takes you all the way down to passport control/customs/immigration and the baggage claim. The same with the new Bradley West gates. Once you're done, and you've exited passport control you'll be in the arrivals area. If you need to connect to another flight you'll need to go back through TSA screening to get back in there (either that terminal or another).

Thanks for clarifying, now that you mention it I do remember going down that escalator the last time I arrived there on an international flight before Covid. I also recall now seeing the Amex Centurion lounge thru a glass wall going down that escalator from what I recall and it was still under construction.

@@user-cj8jf7uo9f Yes! The terminal side connector between Terminal 3 and Bradley Terminal (where you would need to walk through) is not finished yet. Either way, it's a long walk. Terminal 3 and Terminal 7 are a distance from one another, and on the opposite side of the terminal loop. It's best to walk on the upper level. The lower lever is kind of dark, noisy and crappy.
Coming from an international flight. I wonder if i need to carry my checked in luggage from TBIT to Terminal 7. I only have 2.5hrs layover so doing some research now to not miss my domestic flight.

Great question. Yes you’ll have to pick up your luggage and clear customs after you land from your international flight. How to get from terminal 2 to terminal B?
I am going to have a 1hr 55min layover in LAX going to EWR from an international flight. Im actually wondering whether ill have enough time for my connection to terminal 6 from TBIT since i just realized that we have to go through custom in LAX and baggage claim before the connecting flight 😑 if anybody ever gone through this situation please let me know. TIA

Your question has great timing. I did a video of an International arrival at LAX with walking directions to connections and the outside and it'll be published tomorrow on Saturday. I was surprised at how quick the walk was.

@@CarRentalGuy thanks for the quick response. I can't wait to see the video. Just for reassurance that my layover time will be good towards my connecting flight. Cause my concerns are at the baggage claim and also whether i have to check in again or is there a transfer drop baggage after the custom since i assume the baggage will be already tagged to final destination?
This is so helpful!! Thank you for this video. I just have one question, Is that the actual way from TBIT arrival area going to different terminals? Cuz I’ll be traveling alone from philippines going to LAX then connecting to Philadelphia which I believe the terminal will be T4 or T5 (american airlines)

What about International to International connections? I travel from Canada to Peru through LAX. Since I am not entering into the US, I reckon I won’t need to go through security? I am under a tight connection (1 hour and 15mins).

Flights to LAX from Canada will have US customs pre-clearance done at your Canadian international airport. For example YYZ or YVR. So you will be arriving in LAX as a domestic flight in the US. You can transfer to your LAX international terminal (eg: TBIT) airside using the tunnels or outside. If the second flight is the same carrier you can likely get your Peru boarding pass in Toronto.

@@CarRentalGuy , am I screwed then? 1 hour 15mins to go through security and change terminal seems undoable 😭
