Another well scripted, properly presented tutorial that makes the point clearly and succinctly. Very attractive model with loads of personality, although she has difficulty looking evil (which is not a bad thing...) Point is, the model works well with the photographer to convey the point of the tutorial, matching her expression to narrative, effectively demonstrating each point. Thanks . JT

Thanks for this video. I think it answers why I have not been quite satisfied with using gels. I was not factoring in the emotion aspect. I will now!
For me just watching these videos is the best prize I can get as I learn new techniques and more. Great teacher, mentor, and photographer. Keep it up.

Great video, love the explanation and the demonstration of lighting placement. I think my subjects are to close to the background making more difficult to control each individual light. How far away is your subject from the background in this video?

Great overview, though it doesn't solve the question I've been seeking an answer to... Could you do a video specifically on gels and why they still matter in this day and age where you can use layer blending modes in GIMP or Photoshop (or whatever digital retouching tool) to change the colors? I have a hard time grasping why I couldn't just shoot everything with uniform lighting/temperatures and then change the colors of certain areas in post. Very few (if any) people touch upon this subject.

Apart from that how to match window sunlight to the indoor one n bring the foot candle of sunlight equal to ni indoor light set up plz

Okay, so now am actually cringing coz am shooting my first feature film and I didn't put much effort into knowing a whole lot about lighting and now am realizing just how much more I'd have done to make the DP work easier. Thanks JP. It's a good cringe btw. Thanks for helping.

Your model is having way too much fun. ;) This could easily be expanded to a one hour tut to deal with much of the stuff you hint at, or to simply expand on what you are saying. Bring her back and all the watchers will crash the servers. ;)
