Not gonna lie, I went to a John Bellion concert just to see Lawrence. John was a bonus.

Not gonna lie, didn't even know who John Bellion was until Lawrence, and while he's talented, I dig Lawrence way more.

It's the ultimate sign of musicianship when a band sounds even better live than they do on recordings. They just feed off each other and its infectious. Such a great band. (You should turn Jonny up in the mix, dude is putting in work on that guitar)

Word! I knew Gracie had the potential to belt the way she did during Make a move. It made me yell out "YEAH!" I've been following them for a year and am amazed by their progress (whole group included). I also could barely hear the guitar over the keyboard. Maybe it's just how they like to sound though.

As far as newer bands, I would put Lawrence and Lake Street Dive in that category. It’s not studio magic that makes them sound great. They can jam it out all together in one take and melt faces.
There have been several young musicians who have completely restored my faith in the future of music - Dirty Loops, Jacob Collier, Joey Alexander, Cory Wong, Lake Street Dive, Vulfpeck, Sarah Niemietz Scary Pockets and now Lawrence. What an incredibly talented group of musicians.

I have the same list!
I've been playing funk/soul guitar since I'm six years old. If I wasn't now 41 years old with a wife and a kid, I'd play guitar in this band for free.

Bro I've been playing guitar all my life . Started reading music at 5 and play by ear at 10 . I play any genre at anytime ... guitar or bass ... rhythm or leads . I know exactly what you mean . Some bands are good and some not so good . But a group of people you wanna jam with is rare to find . I would jump up with Clyde and his friends no questions
These guys are literally amazing. Everyone needs to know the name Lawrence
Those are real musicians right there
Best performance of Make a Move. Damn... Keep giving Gracie that space to slay, and please put Jonny Koh up in the mix, that man is cleannnnn

Found out about these guys from the Take Your Shoes Off podcast and have not stop listening to them since. This band is packed with talent and musicianship. This sounds like what would happen if Randy Newman ate a 70's funk band.
How have I not discovered this group until now?? Wildly talented! WOW!!

I recommend their video Lawrence- Don't Lose Sight kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWRl0KSmZtm8ZcY.htmlsi=4M6KO9nQVYiTiAmi
This band is the definition of tight. There is no doubt that they've played together for years and still lovin' it. The Lawrence siblings holding it down!
Ooh, when that juicy big band sound comes in on Make A Move! Huge
Take a hard listen and imagine the amount of thoughts that has gone into arranging this. The practice, patience, determination, discipline and talent that had to be gathered to create this.. fucking beautiful!! This is music.. alive, living and hard working !
cast Clyde as Randy Newman for biopic !

His voice has a lot of similarities I love it
As much as I love Lawrence - and as a 53 year old I'll go anywhere to see them - this lacks that Lawrence vibe - the music is, as always, literally perfect, but the true Lawrence vibe comes from a crowd - the siblings are Gods at running an audience. You have to see them to really believe how just staggeringly good they are. Even their videos have more umph. This feels like the staid boring gliterrati trying to bend Lawrence to a NYC studio feel. To hell with that. Find them live, buy their albums, buy their 1978 style shirts, hell watch the Honduras video. They deserve stardom!

I've never seen them live in person, but have watched of their live performances, and their vibe does seem a bit off in this video. Music is on point, as always.
LAWRENCE is reaching levels deep into the STARS... AMAZING

WHAT. A. FREAKING. AWESOME. BAND. SERIOUSLY!
I can't believe it took me going to a Jacob Collier concert in 2023 to discover Lawrence (as the opening band). These guys have been so good for so long, I feel like there's something wrong with the way I am getting exposed to new music. They're incredible and I wish I knew about them earlier.

Same scenario for me!
I was obsessed with "Probably Up" when I first discovered Lawrence but "The Heartburn Song" has taken its place as my favorite, especially the live versions I come across. Jordan's solo is getting better in every new performance.
Damn what a voice! You go girl!
I can't believe the time that the whole band gets the red and white memo, Clyde doesn't wear his "Help me Rhonda"shirt 😂 But they killed it tho as usual
WHY AREN'T THESE GUYS MORE FAMOUS ?! Are they just too good for normal human ears ? Such groooooove !!!
Wow! So 70s, so groovy!
the syncopation on CASUALTY is kick ass

I had a casual tea with my mom this afternoon.
HOW IS THE FIRST TIME IM SEEING THIS SET. amazing everything. the room, the camera work, the mixing. fk yes
I heard the music on Noelle Movie and was so impressed. After seeing who recorded the songs for Noelle immediately started searching for Lawrence and came across this UTube video. Outstanding! Love, their music, love their story. Magical, just pure magic! I would love to see them LIVE in NYC :)

I didn't think I could love them more after the quirky (obviously genuine) music video antics, and yet here I am. You can tell these people love what they do and are all in. It's amazing, and translates into the music. Love, love, love you guys!!
I discovered Lawrance by the Movie, hearing the song at the end of the film, right now. They're really amazing! Wish I could be in America to see them live!
Lawrence is a treehouse. The massive, funky oak it’s sitting on is that rhythm section! So good. Also, I ❤️ Gracie.
Love from Phoenix, Az! Keep it up guys :)
