Never apologize for sponsorship, you're doing us consumers a huge favor and trying live, better than blogs and forums, see it in action. Ironically big yard businesses have been doing this for years, just stay honest, don't sugar coat and make sure sponsors know that and are willing to take feedback, oh and next time, burnouts on the pad with the tractor 😁
I clicked because I saw the Freedom Factory.

It's nice to see someone who enjoys what they do for a living. Plus we get to see how the FF is coming along, even when everyone is stuck at home.
The Freedom Factory would be a perfect place for the Simplicity vs JD comparison! It’s awesome that Cleetus is letting you film there. Been watching his channel forever as well and he always seemed like a real stand up guy
I love this style of collaboration, it's not a "hi here we are talking about doing something" but more of a "let's put both of our skills to better a situation" moreover "A rising tide lifts all boats" just like what you are trying to say in the intro with the sponsor peace. Thank you, Allyn, for thinking big can be better, not just lawn but morals as well. Also, Yes let them pay you to test the products so we buy with confidence. No guilt in that.
With all do respect to you, I take sponsored reviews with a grain of salt. But I love them sending you stuff because I get to see you use something different and not the same toro that I own.
I love the Freedom Factory content. Keep up the good work Alan.

Yes, the mower jack is THE way to go. Also, get a set of chocks so that your mower doesn't back up on ya and drop down. I love mine, even though it takes up more space in the garage.
After owning Scag, Wright, Toro, and Husky...I recently purchased a Simplicity Pacer 34 inch walk behind. Cut quality is great and comes with a factory installed lawn roller. I'm now a believer.
Once again didn't know how much i would enjoy a video about grass! And its the Freedom Factory
Simplicity's are very popular here in Wisconsin, I think because they are headquartered here. I bought mine of my house's previous owner. It's a 1995 Simplicity Broadmoor 44". Works great for my 1 acre. The striping is great. It's 25 years old and still running with just oil changes! I also have a single stage snowblower attachment for it that works great. My dad also has one for his apartment property he manages.
ok, so I am Cleetus McFarland regular, and found this channel after you laid the sod at FF, and i never actually thought i'd be enthralled for 20 odd minutes about lawn care (ok, a bit of your dancing, too) I have to say - your lawn looks freaking fantastic
I was given my simplicity mower and love it. This season I decided to paint it flat black on black on black. I’ll post up for ya. Tractor is work horse and it’s 17 years old. Never had a single issue. Easy maintenance, deck drops off with a single pull... and I beat on it. It’s used 3 times a week and that’s mowing 16,0000 square feet and towing

Simplicity Mowers have been around since like the 40's or something. The older ones are highly sought after . They were mainly used in gardens because of the low gears and immpliment hitch
The Al Boogie intro. Your neighbors are saying...he's officially has gone off the deep end, haha!
Simplicity has always made a rock solid piece of equipment
It good to see that you dont take your self too seriously and can just dance and have a good time on the lawn.
Good stuff right here, while enjoying Sunday morning coffee on the deck overlooking a freshly cut lawn of my own.
Me and my 2 year old boy enjoyed watching this. I have to admit some of the features on that lawn tractor looked really nice.

We used to drive onto the trailer ramp, Deck all the way up. until the center of the deck lines up with the edge of the trailer ramp and that provides access to the blades. We also use a blade balancer to save the deck bearings.
I found your channel by watching Cleetus's and now I'm addicted.
I wasn’t aware how much I needed this in my life today. Hahaha
13:12 It doesn't cut up to 6" high. The numbers on the height of cut confusingly, and very stupidly, don't correspond with the height in inches you're cutting. So the 4 doesn't mean you're cutting at 4". It cuts from a low of 1.5" to a max of 4" high.

My father had a Simplicity set up, similar to this over 40 years ago. He loved it, glad it’s working out well for you!
I use a tractor lift on my '99 simplicity regent. Much easier to get to things without the need to take the deck off. Just a tip. Enjoy the mower, they mow great!
I just sat on my 800 hour Deere and 200 hour cadet for 14 hours playing dethatch on my new to me lawns. Haven’t been thatched in 80 years. So this popped up in recommenced. Hell yea I clicked. Now just gotta get some hyrdatain. That’s a new one to me 😳
You are doing a great job & service to all of us in this DYI community of yard work thank you Mr. Hane
This is the best LCN intro yet.
I’ve got an AGCO branded Simplicity built unit in my shop right now. It arrived in a box after someone else had taken it to pieces and abandoned it. They skipped the “Fuel or spark?” test… mode of failure was: crud and corrosion in the fuel tank outlet… Reassembled unit works fine… just waiting on new tires.
I have a Simplicity Conquest with the same 52" deck and mow my cool season bluegrass lawn in northwest Illinois. It stripes like crazy.
Love my Simplicity Broadmoor, the ones from the 70s and 80s had decks that are real easy to remove. My dad worked for a Simplicity dealer in the late 60s to mid 70s ,was put on a Simplicity when I was 4 and have not changed in 50 years.
Now that's an intro to die for. Thanks for sharing.

I have to let it out somehow 😂
I was all excited to get a mow in this Sunday. I did my dewinterizing and sharpened the blades! I was backing my mower out of my garage and cranked the wheel over. Mower keep going straight, ball joint gave out. Anyways, this lifted up my spirits. This grass turned out awesome. Like you said, the rainy season will really help. Can’t wait to see it!
My favorite lawn guy meets my #1 favorite KZread er!
Have to say I don’t really have an interest in lawncare, but you supported Cleetus and so I’ll support your channel by watching your video’s and giving them a like. And along the way I might even learn something!
My 48" Husqvarna died last year so I bought a new 38" Simplicity Regent for like $2300. Not cheap! My only complaint about the 38" is that the deck is as wide as the tires so it is hard to mow any bit of an inside curve because the deck doesn't extend further than the tires. I wish I had known this when I bought it as I'd have gone up a size. I am going to modify by beds and edging this year because of it. Other than that it is great so far!
Red Sox/ Dave Mellor story. We we sponsored by Toro. Everything Toro. Except we on mowed the infied with the one Simplicity mower the Sox Paid for. It never got used when anyone who didn't work for us was around.
ty from every freedom factory fan nice work man
Just my opinion - sponsorships are totally fine with me, as long as its announced like you do.
I cant wait to see the Freedom Factory once the grass is fully green and healthy with stars and stripes rolled onto the grass
Great quality content, we all can learn so much from your channel, I'm glad you got the Freedom Factory collaboration to bring all us new subscribers
Hi Allyn, just a thought, I would highly suggest picking up a mo Jack or something similar. Will make taking those blades off 1000% easier, and you don't have to remove the deck. Works for pretty much all riding mowers and zero turns. *just speaking from personal experience, I don't have any connections to mo Jack not do I make money if you purchase one.
Your work ethic and dedication to your craft are inspiring.
need a mower jack it lifts the mower up and you take them off from underneath you never have to remove the deck. You will never go wrong buying a Simplicicty. They are super durable and great machines. They also make the snapper brands in case you wondered.
Very cool that you're containing to maintain the grass at the Freedom Factory. I'd originally thought that you were just going to lay the sod and be gone but I'm glad you're sticking around to ensure it's maintained at such a high level. Was referred to you after the FF videos and glad that I'm now a subscriber!
For taking your mower blades off with out taking your deck off they make a jack you drive your front tires on and jake. Jack up and remove blades it faster than removing deck..
love the hat..awsome to see you guys supporting eachother..the mower looks solid..and boy would i love to have the 6inch cut height..i cut my ttf at 5 inches..mower i use is the husqvarna lgt48dxl..great video..always enjoy watching..even when we have to total different grass types..

I enjoyed seeing your video. I helped manufacture a number of Simplicity’s at the Briggs and Stratton Wauwatosa facility a couple months ago. FYI, the blades are torqued to 50 ft-lbs.

I've been using the same Briggs and Stratton engine for.... 16 years now, it runs great 2 or 3 pulls after winter. Its too heavy for the torque I get because its a bit dated but I'm not complaining. Nice stop at Wawa for that ethanol free gas. I used to have to drive 30 minutes round trip for mine.
Tryin to Reason with the Hurricane Season and Tin Cup Chalice are two of my favorites
Good stuff! Taking notes, as I'm buying a friend's house in Clearwater in September and the lawn needs LOTS of help!
Found this channel from Cleetus McFarland page, lawn care stuff is really interesting. He needs to let james turbo that simplicity!
I’ve been using simplicity since the early 2000s and I always thought of it as a higher end brand. My pattens (finally) bought s snowblower in 2003 or so and they gave it to me a couple years ago back in 2015.. but it still works awesome. Always fires up and has great power and great throw. 7:39 that is much more than just a roller/striper. The whole deck rides on it and follows the ground, one of the reasons it cuts so well. Love Simplicity, have a Legacy Diesel front end loader myself. Great video as always, regards Nils from Sweden.

Mate thanks for doing that! I know i don't own the FF and i'll probably never even go there, but some how i feel attached to the place. Your a Legend!!
I had a simplicity for 23 years best mower ever , finally gave up the ghost so I sold it for two hundred and bought a new 44 inch broad mower no comparison to the old one. A lot cheaper made and when you pull the throttle down it pops out of the body brand new. Still cuts great the way it’s set up but will never see the lifespan of the original.
I'm a pipefitter, I'm trying to figure out why you all haven't ran a pump off the water main about 8ft taller than your water rig. Then add some type of flexible hose that you can control by remote to fill the water rig. You could probably do it in less than 10 mins from hook up, to driving off fully loaded.
