You'll like this Ben; I ordered fert from you which was delivered this week while I was at work. When I got home my 6 yr old announced that Ben had sent me a package. Confused I asked him what he meant. He said the box had Ben's symbol on it. I had no idea he even knew who you were. You've clearly made an impression on the family.

Hi Ben, I’m loving your channel. I’m sowing a new, small area of lawn and overseeding two larger areas at my place near Melbourne. What seed would recommend? I’m feeling like a blend with a perennial rye would be good, but what do you reckon for down here?
I would pay For Ben’s airline ticket if he would come do my yard Reno lol.
Man I could use one of those 0.00” rotary mowers!
The average home owner, lawn owner would be shocked how much material you can pull out of turf by scarifying/verticutting. As shown perfectly in this video.
Perfect timing for me You've ok inspired me to reno my lawn next weekend I've got couch as well but in Perth so it's getting hot Let me know your promo codes and all that to support the brand

@@LawnTips alls well in the uk for now. Any thoughts on if you will do a fan story/picture mash up vid?
Any chance you could do a reno of a kind of dead, weedy, bindi, multiple shit grass types, patchy lawn? That's what I've got at my place and don't know where to start. Would I copy the steps in this vid, but add seeding in there somewhere?
Helllooo Brenton!. Nice legs. 👍🏼
Great video. Any tips on a problem I have that I tried to renovate a one year old sapphire buffalo lawn last month for spring. Aerated it, fertilized, then top dressed about 10mm with 80/20 sand soil from ANL. I can still see the blades, but it's very tired and not looking good. The sand mix hardened to a crust. I think this is what is suffocating it. If I water it, the sand dissolves, but then turns hard again in the sun. Should I try to remove the sand somehow or what else can I do to save it? Thanks for any help
Great video. Those backyard views are something you can't get around here. Beautiful mountains, etc... Very entertaining as always! The Aussie Lawn gained a new sub.
Awesome vid chaps, couldn’t find the recovery vid on Brenton’s channel tho, any chance of a link to it? Love both your channels, keep it up 👌🏼
I bet that dulled out that blade fast 😂😂😂
Ben how low would you recommend going on the mow with a cool season grass reno?
If you wanted to do a basic reno to get rid of some spongy spots and bring the height of cut down, could you get away with just the scalp, aerate and fert without a top dress? Or is the top dress a must? This is for Kikuyu btw
Hello nice job, im wondering why the lawn didnt destroyed with such a scalping, how did it grow up again?
Loved it Ben Two of my favourite Aussie Lawnies getting into a project, awesome stuff. Looking forward to seeing the results on my 2nd favourite channel. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏼 ⛳️ 😎

Wow they are some short shorts. Wish I had some nice man legs 🦵 like him to go with it 😂
Hi Ben, Would you recommend using PGR on cooch throughout winter,I live in Sydney metro. My grass is still green, it's only June. Love the show and the golf green 👌
Please, please, please -- what music are you playing. Love your interactions. Love your work, as long as you do it and I rest in the shade..

Jeeze them shorts bud.
How thick did you put down the sand, as you've scalped the grass to dirt?
Good vdo .this is tifdwarf bermuda grass?
What sort of sand do you use for top dressing? Is it just riversand?
What type of grass is that? looks very good for sport fields
Damn your friend has some funny legs called STUMP LEGS

Glad to see that’s what you focused on
Would you use a blower to blow the the thatch into a pile?
What is the name of that scarifier? And what type of blades does it use? Thanks!
He must have been paying ya good Ben? XD
If I go to my local soil distributor what type of sand do i ask for?
Just a question. If you scalp down to dirt do you really need to scarify?
How much topdressing did you use? About to do 600m2
Quick question, have blue couch, can it be scalped like green couch?
You should add the sand and the fert together and mix it and just spread it it works better

Why do you use the Victor? Alloy and low cut height?
Quick question if I may. In one video of yours I saw 'scalp, scaify' and in this one it is 'scarify/scalp'. Which is the better way to go? (Melbourne / Kikuyu). Thanks a lot

If you are doing a renovation it’s great to get something with a little higher nitrogen. Something like the 2SPEC elevate on my website or something along those lines. You could also get an starter fertiliser or something similar.
What would a typical Reno look for buffalo lawn ? I’ve done a few on Couch but now have buffalo
@LawnTips
3 жыл бұрын
Brenton has a few vids coming up on that topic. I’d stick with a core aeration. Light scalp around 10-15mm and topdress but not too heavy
Have I left it to late for a scalp and top dress my lawn. I'm Sydney based and starting to get some pretty hot days here.

If it’s couch or kikuyu I’d avoid it because they will grow into more lawn. It’s basically like a cheap way of seeding if you know what I mean
