The dudes not even paying on the machines… you think he cares 🤷‍♂️ just a typical lawnmower guy who wanted a fancy truck and a couple new mower thinking that he was going to get rich overnight. Same can be said for the towing industry, in my town about every year or two some new guy comes in all hot shot with new equipment and promises to put everyone else out of business. Then about 2.5 years in their stuff starts to disappear because they get behind and can’t borrow anymore money to stay afloat. By year 3 they’re high tailing it out of town with a massive amount of unpaid local debt.

He still paid for his gas, he was still paying for his food and drink I'm sure, despite possibly having a sick relative in this scenario you point out. See, bills have to be paid, no matter what is happening in one's personal life - the world doesn't suddenly change financially and commercially because one has an unwell relative. Heck, even family will only carry someone for so long before they too stop.

The other guy doing donuts had me dying. I was like, is he really doing donuts? Then he admits it 😂.

This video has me remembering when I repo a stand on top Toro Granstand law mower. We had a business went out and leased these. And we used a ford dually and 30ft trailer and took away like 5 of these things. Before they where pickedup my company that sold them, we cut the grass in our lot, the adjacent lot and the owner took one home to cut his own grass.

That was nothing more than nervous laughter because these guys get chased down and threatened with bodily harm from knives, guns, etc. all the time. They weren't laughing at the man. They were just releasing nervous energy.

That cranking and stalling was nice, hard starting with cold mowers often occur when the choke is not on full when the engine is cold. Most mowers refuse to start unless given full choke when cold. Many mowers also stall out or run very poorly if the choke isn't released right after the engine has started. 9 years of mowing with different mowers told me this 😀

Kubota also has an odd little arrangement with the lower end consumer units. The brakes and the levers have a very specific starting sequence, if you are not used to it, the machine will stall out due to nervous Nancy safety switches. Thats one of the main reasons I prefer the diesels.

Luckily you planned ahead,and parked close to the vehicle being repossessed,had the flat bed lowered and everything,smart move

I think he lied about paying his bills. Truck and trailer are probably next lol

Those mowers are thousands of dollars, they aren't your average home mower, they are commercial, so yeah they get repoed just like any other vehicle. I have seen golf carts get repoed.

@@kurtisvandermiller4507Knocked on the door, and told them he was there to pick up the fridge. He would look at his paperwork and tell them had no idea why, he was just contracted to pick it up. Most of the time, to avoid embarrassment, they would empty it out and say something like; “ yea, it’s broke, and we are sending it back.”

Very entertaining and fun to watch. Very nice mowers as well. Thanks for posting this.

They’re NOT the ones you buy at Home Depot or Lowe’s for a couple or three grand. The guy should have bought second hand and worked his way up instead of hammering the credit line like that. Now he’s got nothing to work with except that inexpensive push mower. You need to plan and grow your business or you’re out of business. He’s out now.

The mowers weren’t his. They are property of the lienholder until the final payment is made. If you default, they will take them back.

Dustin, you need to use your hazard lights when you park. The taillights make you look like you are moving. Definitely a rear-ender situation.

The owner was waiting for student loan forgiveness on mowers.

Lol yeah, Donnie is childish in the worst way, not playful and lighthearted, but catty, rude and mean. Not a fun dude to be around. Worked with those types a couple times in rural warehouses/factories, peaked in highschool so they're kinda just stuck there mentally and emotionally. Super insecure, kinda sad.

It takes a lot of mowing to make payments on pricey mowers ( 2 ) , gotta pay to mow . I've seen so many lawn service guys go under soon after they have bought new trucks , trailers , mowers , weedeaters and trimmers . Thats a lot of money to make the payments , forcing people to lose all of it rather quickly .

LOL My brain instantly thought of the MarioKart 64 when you could battle against people to take their balloons. I am new to this channel and really loving it. :)

How you gonna get your mowers repo? I can understand those very expensive giant commercial mowers like Ferris, Exmark etc but not 2 cheap kubota mowers. Heck if you were going to buy cheap Kubota mowers you should have went to lowes or home depot prob would have saved more $$ over those 2 model kubotas they had.

At that point the lienholder would probably pursue legal action I’d assume. It’s illegal for the pawn shop to sell something with a lien on it.

@@Towtruck_Dustin alright. Freightliners are the best trucks but Kenworths they’re kinda junk I had a KenWorth semi truck and it kept breaking down all the time. But Peterbilt are good trucks too I’m not to far from the tow shop about 7 this evening I had to put 4 new tires on my Kubota SXS and it was easy to do. I still have my international Service truck that I bought from the auction couple years ago. I’m not to far from the international truck dealer they’re just down the interstate from me. I dealt with International truck dealer and I bought parts from them for my Peterbilt and my kenworth trucks good people to work with. If you ever get a chance check out Hill International Truck Dealer they’re from Ohio and West Virginia look them up on Google

This shit is why I always pay directly for the stuff I buy. No bank to repo anything here 🙃 The system always finds a way but I'm human and a lot quiquer.(for now)

Just fyi there are companies that sell master keys to that kind of equipment. You got lucky it had keys in it but if you do a lot I would invest in master keys. Although most of those are easy to pick as well.

been doing lawn's for 14yrs here in Australia watching these guy's trying to start and moving the lawn mower's off the trailer was disgraceful made me sick how he took the second off that guy's trailer hitting the deck like that on the trailer could have snapped the small stabilizer rods that balance the deck and stabilizer's it could have snapped and then they could be screwed i know it's a repo etc but be more careful with equipment like this not cheap to fix if you broke those rod's

Question If the trailer is enclosed like this landscape trailer or otherwise designed in a way that it could be considered a secure, private space, wouldn't entering it without permission potentially be seen as trespassing in the state of Texas even with a repo order. The issue I see is that the taking of the lawnmowers might cross over the gray line even if he should pay his bills and it would depend on the judge whether the trailer, even on a public street, constituted a private space from which was implicitly or explicitly barred even with a repo order. I would run this past your company attorney for future reference.
