The Piu, Arapaho, Apache, Lakota, and other tribes were impressed by Bass Reeves. And for me what was more important were the men that came to admire and even work with him that started off hating everything Bass Reevesd represented. Even the Texas Rangers were willing to work with Bass Reeves, which is still a big statement. Reeves was know to be fair with everyone, he really did stand for the balance of justice with honest enforcement of the laws. This will take a place next to mini series like "Roots" for showing the real history of our great nation.

I had the privilege of being a part of this production, even though I was miles away from the set. I watched for the train that ran about 50 yards from the town set in Strawn Tx. When the train came I called the set and they had to shut down filming so not to capture the train noise.12 hours at a time I sat in my truck watching. But you can bet I hit the caterers to eat afterwards lol. It was cool being part of it. My credit as trainwatcher was cool

Bass Reeves's story had always fascinated me because of how awesome he was as a U.S. Marshall. I'm looking forward to watching this.

Thank you to all for the amazing work that was put into this. I have watched 5 episodes now and find this story so intriguing. It is too bad our school books did not cover this in Texas or any other state. At least Bass is being recognized along with such other rich historical facts. American history is so rich and the tapestry and weaving of sorts is inspiring. I think these actors convey this story well.😍

Bass Reeves was a great man of conviction with a strong faith in God. Glad to see someone is finally telling his story well. He's a true American hero and man well worthy of respect. When my son plays "old west cowboys", he acts like he's Marshall Bass Reeves!

Fair, but counterpoint, it could be said Melvin's character was a rip off of the original man. And the original man had unshakable moral grounding, whereas the former film had a more anti-hero.

I will never watch a Taylor Sheridan show again. He got so greedy after the popularity of Yellowstone that he reached into the Bucket to get more money. Causing Yellowstone yo fail because he had too many fires in the iron, ruining Yellowstone causing it to end. Shame on you
