I'd love to see what the law master would look like, if the GhostRider were to infuse his power into one. Now that would be a really scary judge to fear.

Yes, the Lawmaster does leave me a bit exposed but...since I am the law, most criminal scum flee as soon as they see me.

Even if it does leave you exposed, the fact is your Lawmaster is so fast, people probably do have time to react when you drive towards them.

Well there will be no Dredd 2... bummer. There may be either a Tales of Mega City One or Judge Dredd TV series though... and yes, they want Urban if he wants it and is available!

I gotta say I like the 2012 bike it just looks the most like a motorcycle that would actually exist.

I liked the 1995 film version of the law master.

I am kind of familiar with it. When I was a kid a had a hardcover judge dredd comic, can’t remember what issue. This one had a double page dedicated to a “blueprint” or details technical specs of the lawmaster, it also had two other pages of specs for the lawgiver and Walter the Wobot along with features pages like a map of the two megacities and that span of no man’s land (including the nuclear wasteland formerly Milwaukee) in between, and a couple of included comics like Walter the Wobot and Max Normal the pinstripe freak.

I like the new Judge Dredd flim and its Lawmaster

I loved both dredd movies. The stallone dredd lawmaster, when driven like a motorcycle, i think comes closer to the comic version lawmaster. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work

the bikes in the comics kinda remind me of the bike squads for space Marines in the 40k universe.

1:13 Take that concept, build it exactly as is, and it would translate well onto the screen.

I liked the model from the 1st Dread film. The one from the 2nd one wasn't to bad, but kinda lacked style.

The bike from the first film looked unweildy and a bit top heavy or bad/ high centre of gravity. We never got to see it driven in any action scenes. Which is a shame coz the they missed a trick with that. It was only really used for flying. Second film ones yeah they were far from the comics in appearance, and I never fully warmed to them. Even something as simple as an Eagle of Justice paintwork across the front, would have made a positive difference. ... Just have to accept it though.

If I remember right, back in the day in the mid to late 80s in the uk in the official Judge Dredd role-playing game the law masters big front headlight used to be like a big laser weapon called the cyclops, does anybody else remember, or may have heard about this????

MK-1 MK -2 are the best you just can't beat it as far as looks it fits into the gritty hyper stylized work perfectly

Back in the 1977 to 1980 time frame it was inconceivable for a motorcycle to exceed 2000cc's. Now with the Triumph Rocket 2300cc and the Vulcan 2000 of a few years back it seems we are living in the future. The scooters of Judge Dredd Stalone looked the part but were barely drivable on pavement thus their limited screen time. Dredd Urban looked more Ducatti Superbike than Lawmaster. Drove better in practice since it wasn't just a prop but a bike that was modified. Also Dredd Urban's uniform looked more Year One Judge Dredd based on a Spanish Fascist uniform of the 1960's.

It looked like a ducatti superbike with a shanty town part added. I need chunky wheels and seat you sit back and cruise in. Honestly I think they could modify a big scooter type bike to look the deal.

The comics version is still much more impressive and brutal than any of the movies.

The low slung, feet first look of the bikes in the comics gave the judges the appearance of hells angels with the law on their side! The movie bikes were plastic toys

Suggestion Mr H cover the megacity idea in general or a series on them. I love the avp content but if you had the same backlog of Dredd videos it'd be epic.

The comic is the classic, but I still love the Urban movie version best.

did not know about the a.i. I can't remember if this has really been shown in the movies. Although I dislike most of the movie now, Sly Stallone's Judge Dredd was my favorite, it was beefier, didn't like the flying aspect though.

Cool video Mr H... I like the lawmaster in Dredd better, its more realistic.. Think if i recall correctly the one in the Sly Stallone Judge Dredd kept breaking down haha...:)

It was a while since I watched the old Dredd movie, but from that one picture when he is riding through the flames... the bike looked weird.. Like the weels were way to small and thin to support that massive bike. :/

i take it the Dredd remake has the more accurate bike but the stallone bike can freakin hover convert and fly like a jetbike that is pretty awesome.

Yup. I’ve always liked the original bike from the comics. Probably should have borrowed Stallone’s bike for Urban’s Dredd character.

Yours...if you can get it to work... ---hated that 'realism' edge they put in, even for a plot thread, but oh well, loved Stallone as Dredd though!

I feel like the Stallone's Dredd depicts Lawmaster better than the Karl Urban's version. It really had the hightech and "sense of deterrence" compared to leaner, simpler and more aerodynamic looking Karl Urban version. Hell... there was even flying one the MK-2 which shouts "malfucntion-malfunction" XD.

I like the LawMaster seen at 1:12. I feel it would have fit in better in the Karl Urban Dredd film than the one that was seen.

I always liked Ron Smiths version, It didn't have that stupid Ice Cream cone on the front, A Stars and Stripes shield instead although he did very square wheels (Front on), Dredd 3D has the worst bike, nice fat wheels but it's just a big black triangle with wheels, just awful, Stallones bike was so much better.

I agree the Lawmaster in both films fails to live up to the 2000AD comic, Though I like the version in the Stallone more of the two, and being honest I like the Stallone film more in its visual look.

imo Confederate Motorcycles could come up with a truly bad ass version of the Lawmaster. Imagine this kzread.info/dash/bejne/hKKiy6ebXdTdfto.html with a few cosmetic bits an bobs to make it look more 'Judicial' :)

i actually like the stalone version lawmaster better.... its more comical and fitting. the DREDD bike is realistic and boring but has a better lawgiver.. sadly DREDD was marketed as "DREDD 3D" there by automatically making the public think it was a B movie. By adding 3D to any title you literally hark back to shitty 70s 3d movies. like piranah. No matter what movie you cannot do that and be searious about making money on a searious movie.The fucking ad campaign was all about 3d wtf? stupid "suicide squad" style quick cut trailers and the 3d angle killed DREDD. Sad too cause 3d and slow motion (great idea making slow motion real by the "slo-mo" drug. great idea to get slow motion into a story)worked really well. You just CANNOT market a movie 3d in the title period... god such a great movie and actor for a character wasted for future movies.

I grew up with the comic bike, the rest are shite as they are nothing like it
