Tyron even becoming champ largely came from timing and favorable matchups against aging contenders. He was already found out by Rory and Jake Shields to befall to pressure.

@@WarBrah true. He beat tills ass when he was undefeated though. Also he beat a dangerous Wonderboy. 1 fight being a draw. He was a beast in his prime but somehow forgot how 2 throw punches. Then the jack Paul knockout was brutal. At least he got paid.I think Maia was the only aging contender he beat because Robbie was on fire when they fought each other.

Tyron was such a monster. People really forget how dangerous he was because of recency bias. It was so sad to see him fall off the way he did because he’s one of the greatest welterweights in history.

Robbie was so proud of going to war and taking damage and as cool and as badass as that is you're human and you're body and your brain is not made to handle anything like that and you'll realize that when its too late and people will love you and respect you for it but as soon as you're not the same you'll realize it wasn't worth it specially considering Dana doesn't pay nearly enough for that to be worth it I mean look at Israel, he won't go in there to give the most interesting fight, he goes to win at minimum cost and he's made more money than the fighters who go to war, it's not fair for the fighters that try their best.
