To SUMMARIZE all you said: Tip Before Starting Law - Condition your mind 1. Know how to manage your time, finances, allowance and etc. 2.Attend Orientations Tip at The Start Of Law School 1. Complete your materials (ASAP) - like books, codals, notebooks, school supplies and etc. 2. Make a routine suitable for your needs 3. Be Responsive (ALWAYS) - which means listen carefully to the question and answer only relevant information to the questions. 4. Make Friends 5. Forgive Yourself - always remember that failure is inevitable at law school, just remind yourself to learn from your failures. And keep in mind that law school is not about perfection but more on character building. Maam Isai Rivera i think you will be a great teacher at law school someday.

TOTALLY! Naku, very important things I forgot. Sasabihin ko sana "Fake it til you make it" -para sa confidence. Hahaha. Kasi minsan, masyado mong dinadoubt kung tama ba yung sagot na nasa isip mo while reciting pero usually kung ano nga ang unang pumasok sa isip mo, dahil yun ang naaral mo, usually yun ang tama. Pinakaimportante kong nakalimutan ay FAITH at siyempre PRAYERS! My gulay nakakaloka. Sobra sobrang importante dahil gabay ng Diyos talaga ang pinakamalaking tulong sa kahit anong pinagdadaanan. Hello! Thanks ate Isai this really helps me. I am now turning second year college this incoming academic year. From my first year, I took business administration course. But now that I'm turning second year, I shift to political science. Because this is really what I like and what I want to take up. I truly love to take law. I know the pressure, and how stressful it is. But as saying goes, no matter how hard your doing as long as you are happy with it then everything will get finished.

Hello po, Atty. Isai! I kept re watching your videos po hoping to gain confidence from it. I graduated college year 2017 and started working the same year. I honestly didn't noticed how time flew fast, now its 2019 and I am nowhere near where I want to be. Actually I dont know where I want to be. So here I am trying my luck at law school. As part of application to Law school in my alma mater, I am scheduled for interview next week and I am a nervous wreck. Hi ate isai!! or should I address you as Atty. Rivera? Hehe claim it atty. I just want to let you know that through your blog I decided to pursue law. I was a bit hesitant at first because I do not possess the qualities of a lawyer-to-be such as being confident in public speaking but it has occurred to me that this is what I really want to do. I will try to overcome this fear of public speaking. I don't exactly fear speaking in public but the thing that scares me is that my audience will be law students/judges...what if I make a fool of myself by making a grammatical error or making an invalid argument. I might make myself a laughing stock by being too nervous to speak that I'll stutter. These are my concerns but my passion to become a lawyer outweighs any fear that I have. I am hoping to develop my speaking skills and gain confidence in myself. Anyhow, I took the philippine law school admission test last april 16 and I can feel the excruciating pain of waiting for the result. I really hope I would pass it. Since the philsat is done and it's already summer atty, is it recommendable to read law books this summer or should I let this summer pass? I'm just worried that I won't be geared up with the basics of our law and go to law school empty handed. If you do recommend me to read law books, what books should I read?

Hi can I ask ,if what is the books that I need to prepare in entering law school?

Is it better to photocopy the cases? or just download it and read it through an electronic device?

Is it helpful or advisable to read before taking up Law? I intend to get into Law school but for now, since I am working full time and does not have the time and money to be back to school again. what I do is read law books. Thanks.

And also interesado naman ako sa Biology and stuff :) I am happy naman as a lawyer, I'm enjoying my practice. I became a lawyer more of by chance, slightly of choice. What inspires me is becoming better everyday :D

After watching your "What's in your bag - Law School Edition" napakalaking tulong talaga nang pi-nost niyo ito. I've even been thinking it would've been a waste of money buying yung mga pens na kakailanganin ko for school just because I love that pen but it seems that law school materials and hoarding note taking tools is important. I've been following you and Sir Lex from Lex in Motion and I've been strongly considering buying the first book from the Revised Penal Code. Is it worth it to buy even if I'm not in law school yet? Depende kung ano yung topic, like ididiscuss niyo kung ano ung topic niyo for the day, magtatanong professor about the topic, minsan about the topic, minsan magtatanong about a certain case na assigned, irerecite mo yung tungkol sa case. Ganun :)

Atty. Yung Remedial Law is offered as Remedial Law Review 1 sa 4th year 1st sem sa UE, and Remedial Law is not included in our curriculum from 1st to 3rd year. I wonder why, Remedial Law Review pero di naman namin taken Remedial Law subject till the 3rd year. Is Remedial Law subject included in your syllabus from 1st year in UST?

Usually wala pang rem subjects sa first year. In my experience nagstart siya sa 2nd yr with crim pro. Akala mo lang wala sa syllabus pero incorporated yan, di mo pa lang siguro alam yung mga name ng subjects under Remedial law

What kind of introduction do you have in mind?

Hello! i watched your videos before I began my first sem in my freshman year. I`m currently in my second sem. I think one of my difficulties is coping up with lots of case readings that I end up reading digests. I`d like to ask lang of people also read digests or ako lang ito? Is this acceptable? I feel guilty kasi if I don`t read the full texts. :(

Yan yung ginagawa ng prof ko sa business law nmn every meeting recitation then nag pipick sya sa class cards. Yung feeling na parang lagi kang bibitayin 😂 Hi to fellow BSA student

Hi ate! I'm currently in grade 11 and I just wanna ask kung 10 years ba talaga ang law? Also how does pre-law work po? Can I take up MassComm as my pre-law or? Thank you po! :>

Any 4 year course can qualify as a pre law course. Yes, you can take Mass Comm as your pre law.

Hi Claro! Nadiscuss ko siya in jist sa isang daily vlog ko,’parang title nya “creating case digests” (Days in the life of a law student) Books, sa Crim kasi usually Reyes naman ang recommended book. Sa ibang subjects minsan iba, better wait na lang sa instruction ng prof :)

Helloooo. Great video! I will be having mg law school entrance exam on Feb. Any tips on how will i review for it? My undergrad is Engineering so im worried that my english is not enough to pass the law aptitude exams :(

Hmm, in terms of law entrance exams (English), marami ang vocabulary. Well, if my memory serves me right, dun kasi ako pinakanahirapan :) So ayun, brush up on your vocab and siguro try looking for PhilSAT reviewers. :)
