Is that so? Has martial law been declared? Is there a curfew in place? Otherwise, we are free to protest, assemble, redress greivances on a traditional public forum aka: PUBLIC property. Some universities have gates closed at night, allowing only students on to the closed campus, many of whom live on campus, all of whom have legitimate right to be on the property. So, no, the police did not have probable cause to assault and arrest peaceful student protestors, in fact, the cops were commiting civil rights violations on many fronts, most basically, the right of a person to the peaceable enjoyment of his/her home. These cops were disturbing the peace on a massive scale, reached new lows of unconstitutional acts under color of (non existent) authority.

I personally call them children, coz I am referring to their emotional capabilities. Children are naive, rebellious and easy to influence. Well, what can I say, you need to see how the demonstrations are dispersed in Dallas, how the police work respectfully and decisively, and within a few minutes the demonstrators are outside the university grounds and all their tents and equipment are confiscated. Kudos to the Dallas Police for their professionalism and, above all, for respecting the demonstrators. It's really great to see this.

Arrest and deport if here on visa. If from can no longer attend college or graduate.

Most college campuses are private properties so, if the protesters are asked to leave and they don't ...they can be charged with criminal trespassing. Quite frankly, I wouldn't want my kid on campus in this atmosphere...not an environment conducive to learning. It's one stupid act away from a riot...can see why the Jewish students especially wouldn't feel safe on campus.

I mean, the school here went and delt with it within just a few hours. The problem is, due to bureaucratic momentum, an organization as large as a major university does need time to be able to verify that a protest is happening, communicate that it is illegal, and then call police out, who themselves need time to verify what's going on before they can take action. That can take as long as a working day depending on the circumstances. What's important, though, is that beyond that bureaucratic momentum, action comes as swiftly as possible and that the consequences are real -- which is what, hopefully, appears to be happening here.

I mean, I have seen some statistics, so I think the main issue there would be trauma, so, who is causing trauma, and it ain't like the majority of university protests have been violent, the majority, with a 90% confidence interval, of how there were or more, were peaceful protests except for security... Peace and love to u... And u really can't believe all, absolutely all of those protestors are Palestinian... there has to have been anti zionist jews, UN admirers, general random US citizens, people form Egypt (since Israel plans to expand to the Sinai, which jews have NEVER had a territorial claim over other than if via acceptance of non Israel territorial claims), or other surrounding countries..., many could be potentially christians horrified at the lack of ... over religious places in Israel right now. I don't know about u, but most of the students won't trust a government which: claims to be democratic with a limited voting, with sketchy laws, with no Supreme Court, with protests with itself, with ban of foreign media, and allegations from so many nations that it is scary ...

These students have been coming here for years. I use to go to a dentist college because I liked the students. They were getting very good education. The last time I went I got a student from Pakistan, he was very rude. I don't think they respect women and estate white women. I was very nice to him, told him I won't be back. I walked over to the appointment desk and told the staff. Because of that students insults and no respect for white women, I won't be coming back. I stopped at the store to pick up lunch and a student came over to talk to me and introduce me to his wife. They both had perfect English. He was very nice and told me that they were hiding because they wanted the baby to be born here, as a citizen. These college students are from very wealthy parents in home country. Prayers
