Grest reaction, thats exactly how I screamed at the TV when I saw it. I would have pushed after 5 sec. Please eact to all of his other songs on The Voice too. He is magical and the crazy thing is that he had literally no experience besides singing for himself in front of the mirror/in the shower. He is gonna be a world star 🥰

They had no idea how the World would fall in love with him. He is a Super Star. So grateful we got to see him. Thank you to the Judge who turned at the last minute. We don't see The Norwegian version of the Voice in South Africa. But found Lavrans, so grateful. 🎉❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for your reaction. Lavrans voice is amazing! He sings to my heart ❤️ I am happy Jarle chose to turn his chair for him. Jarle has been a good mentor for Lavrans.

🔥🔥🔥Agree with you... from the first few chords .... I heard and FELT a unique soulful quality never quite like Levrans before! His vocal range is crazy too! I believe the Judges were frantically trying to make sense of his unique vocals but as WE all were.... mesmerized and captivated , so Jarle came to his fine tuned natural musical instincts and pushed the button with fervor ( he is a creative free flowing artist himself!) ... they were paired up perfectly! I still feel shocked seeing Lavran's Blind Audition again at the lack of action from the other judges not fighting over their buttons to discover a rare unique talent as Lavrans! A big fan now.... from the U.S.! 🇳🇴 Norway is beautiful!

I completely get your reaction! I was thinking so much the same! But keep in mind, this was a vocal coach choosing someone to coach and train based on nothing but a three minute sample. And I get it, honestly. I've seen a few like this before where a song has some obvious moments where the right voice excels. They were waiting for some of the key moments in the song that would have immediately made his voice shine, or would have shown that he couldn't actually do the song he picked. As an example, Adele with Someone Like You. Everyone would be waiting for that moment where the song goes 'nevermind I'll find, someone like yoooooou.' and for the high shift after that, AND HE KEPT MISSING THEM. I absolutely love the way Rag'n'bone Man throws his frustration but also his care for and with people out there, care and love, helplessness and frustration. And this was missing entirely from the performance. Completely. This was frustrating to watch. I can get their hesitation because wow, the song lost a lot of its power the way he sang it. He didn't do badly, but he didn't match well with the original performance. And that was the 'assignment'. Perform a song that best shows the qualities of your voice. Each judge has their own expertise and preference. Some voices can go with anything, some can't. Don't get me wrong, the guy has a great voice. But he picked a song that wasn't good for showing what he could do. It showed his limitations way more than it showed his capabilities. As a coach they're the one who have to either train him to sing the music he wants to sing, or convince him to sing something better suited for his range and expression. You often see the judges talk quietly among themselves in a situation like that. They're discussing who they think would be the best fit.

The Norwegian judges seem to take the opportunity to listen to the voice without being disturbed by the artist's appearance and stage performance more than judges from other countries, which I think is good. Several times they hold back, some of them all the way to the end, before they press. Otherwise, I agree with others who have commented that in this case they hold back due to Lavrans not taking the chance to show a larger part of the spectrum of what he can do. "That's a lot of bass", you can hear one of the judges say. Fortunately, Jarle realized that he could not let this artist be lost to the competition.

They are not deaf. They just wanted to enjoy... Quality of contestants is at different (higher) level what I used to see...
