Lavar Ball Tells His Life Story (Full Interview)

In this VladTV exclusive, LaVar Ball sheds light on his upbringing and his sports journey. Ball, who grew up in a two-parent household in South Central, was largely unfazed by the surrounding gangs thanks to his strong family unit and their emphasis on family values. Ball, known for his outspoken personality and fathering three successful basketball athletes, including NBA player Lonzo Ball, always aimed for ownership as he grew up watching his parents work hard but follow a strict schedule. He talks about his experiences and challenges during his schooling at Canoga Park High School in the valley, discussing how he had to adapt to a different and tougher academic environment. In high school, Ball was a multi-sport athlete, playing basketball, football, and track and serving as the football team's quarterback. However, due to what he calls the political part of the game, his coach moved him from the quarterback position. Basketball aside, the Ball bro's seem like good, chilled dudes. They always defend their dad, love on their momma and seem really close with one another. It's a special bond they have, and that's a credit to Lavar.
LaVar is the definition of "Time will tell". 5 years ago everyone was hating on LaVar. Fast forward to now and there are people commenting that listening to him talk makes them want to tear up and that everyone should have a dad like this. Much respect to LaVar.

The Ball family is a perfect example of shooting for the moon and landing amongst the stars. He may not hit on every single prediction, but they’ve worked so hard, and have manifested so much into the universe that even though he’s only been right 10% of the time. That 10% Lavar is right, has his kids playing at the highest level of basketball. Much respect 💯

how can you not respect this man and his approach
My dad (& mom) have this misguided confidence in me and my 2 siblings. It comes with expectations that never gets mentioned, but it meant the world to me. And still carries me to this day. So Lavar isn't crazy, nor wrong. Anyone who says different seemingly doesn't get it, and probably hasn't been loved like this.

Lavar Ball is a great man and great father. I think if all people had a dad like this this world would be a better place. Yes he's cocky and a bit arrogant but he stood up and was a man to his family. Very good person from what I can see. He just believes and wants the best for his. He had a vision, stuck with it and truly made it happen despite obstacles. This man is an inspiration. I remember watching him have that reality show when his sons where younger. It's really motivating to see where they're at now. Truly inspirational. Much respects.

He seems like a great father only issue is he’s not always right and even when he’s wrong he will create a narrative to support his side no matter how wrong he is. Also he seems to think he knows everything about his grown children u did ya part my guy but they have lives outside of yiu and u never know what’s really going on and the way you react to certain things they will never tell you everything.
