Apparently, there are a lot of manhunts that don't get published because the hunters killed Dream early. Wouldn't be too shock to hear that a LOT of them ended because Sapnap managed to win one of these 1v1s he constantly has with Dream.

Hardly surprising, 4 or 5 highly skilled hunters against one speedrunner don't cast favourable odds for Dream. Especially factoring in he pays them an undisclosed amount if they kill him early on

@@user-os7uy6wl9x Nah, I wouldn't exactly say that Bad, Ant, or Sam are particularly skilled in PvP. At least not enough to win a 1v1 against Dream 5 times out of 10. I wouldn't even say George is necessarily good at PvP.

@@kiiseanrobinson5084 Lol I don't disagree about George, but Ant is decent at PvP and Sapnap is always the one to get Dream low or kill him. Sam's got a lot of game knowledge (respawning the dragon among other things saved the hunters in different scenarios), so he's pretty valuable in that way, and Bad's a good team leader. George, while definitely not the best at PvP, can gather resources so he's ok-ish. All in all, when they're organized, these 5 hunters do their respective jobs really well. Sapnap's always the main one in these fights against Dream, with the rest assisting where they can. You have to remember, it's not all about PvP, having the best PvPers is useless if they're under geared, which is where Bad as team leader comes in, Ant and George as resource gatherers and Sam using game knowledge (like that manhunt where the hunters all got full diamond in the first 15 minutes because Sam told the hunters to use the swamp trick) to make a strong team.

@@user-os7uy6wl9x I'd argue PvP might be the only thing that matters. The hunters constantly fall for Dream's tricks (not to the fault of them or anything), And when confronted with a severely under-geared Dream, if singled out, Dream could easily kill them; other than Sapnap. In the end the goal of the video is to hunt. If they suck at that... if they, in almost full diamond, can die to a Dream with low durability iron chestplate and golden boots, the resource gathering and being a team leader means nothing. Dream kills them and wins 9 times out of ten. Sapnap is the only one who can hold a candle to Dream, so thus he's the only one that SHOULD be fighting.

@@kiiseanrobinson5084 Well when they have the upper hand/see Dream is right there, the first thought is to chase and then they end up in a trap, but then again, if they suspected him of a trap every time, he'd get away most of the time. I don't believe they have ever died with that level of gear when confronted with under-geared Dream, but with less stacked scenarios, you are right, they do die but I think that, half the time, it's down to overconfidence. You have to balance your point against the other side, since under-geared hunters versus full iron Dream will result in the hunter's loss most of the time unless they coordinate well enough, but focusing too much on gear for those who aren't as good at PvP is also not a good move. The problem is, Sapnap is hot headed and will regularly charge off on his own and end up dying while trying to kill Dream, so if they only pour their gear into him, if he dies, then they're left with next to no gear to take Dream on. This is potentially a fatal mistake in the End, since if he dies with all the diamond gear, then all they have is iron. Meanwhile, if they all get maybe half diamond with axes, they'll stand a greater chance of killing Dream than Sapnap in full diamond versus Dream, because rather than Dream trying to single out one of them because they're weaker, he'll be going up against the same gear on every person. Also on your point about Dream singling one of them out and killing them due to skill difference, that's EXACTLY my point with Bad being team leader and the team being organized in such a way so the team doesn't get split up and thus doesn't give Dream such an opportunity. All 5 of them can do damage to Dream while not being at such a risk themselves because they're sticking together and organized if they all have equal gear.

I love how at the beginning he doesn’t start with the axe, he just rolls up and scares the absolute shit out of George.

Looking back at this after the face reveal, it is amazing how close people got to how dream actually looked.

this animation is perfect. sapnaps switch from pickaxe to axe was amazing. the look on sapnaps face during the fight like he was enjoying it. I love how dream looks at how many hearts he has left. "one of us is dying here Dream!!" followed by that braver. amazing work with this video

Dude, this video is like an anime style sword fight! I actually like this better than the actual fight in the original video because of how cleverly animated this was in both visuals and sound.

I love the fact Sapnap(the DSMP character) was born in lava and he is in his strongest in the lava, so Dream( DSMP character) had to dig down and out of the lava to get Sapnap out of his element. And as soon as he was out of lava, Sapnap didn’t stand a chance.

I usually don't watch Dream (I watch other Minecrafters tbh) but this. This is beautiful. I love the smoothness of the animation, absolutely beautiful. It looks so freaking professional, I love it. If I may ask, have you ever thought of collaborating with someone to do an animation before?

Imagine if dream had the editing skills to actually animate that fight into his Manhunt

One of the many reasons why Sapnap is the best hunter, no disrespect to the others but the fire lord is on another level. Please animate the attack on flying machine from the 5v1 finale in the same style as this, it would be incredible.

All the hunters have their own strength, for example : - Sapnap is the best PVPer out of the 5 hunters He is usually the one who fights Dream head on, like this lava fight scene. - George is usually like the backup hunter He's kinda the second best PVPer, and he offers help and comes up with ideas. - Ant is the looter and the of the hunters He does alot of mining and prep, and he's always in the background. - Sam knows alot of the game mechanics One evidence is that he was the one who told Dream about the fly hack thing - Bad is the organizer and/or leader of the hunters Idk how to explain, but he acts like the leader and organizes on who will do what.

@@leuxiyelav Simply for the sake of accuracy: *Sapnap* is the strongest in terms of PVP skill and clutches, and is the only one Dream is hesitant to fight 1 on 1, especially if Sapnap has better gear. *George* is the 2nd strongest in terms of PVP skill, usually being the backup but also being the one who typically knows when not to fight. That being said, he is also the one who is most likely to fall for Dream's ploys, but you can't really blame him for that too much, considering he's colourblind. *Bad* is the leader and strategic planner, coming up with the more intricate plans and being responsible for the executions of them. *Antfrost* is the supporter and quick-thinker, being the one to collect resources to prevent the hunters from losing much-needed firepower, and being able to come up with quick ideas on the spot (for example, using a bed to break through Dream's nether maze and suicide-jumping into a desert temple to blow up dream or at least stop him from raiding it). Arguably the most underrated hunter, as he utilizes his tendency to fade into the background to his advantage. *Sam* is the most knowledgeable about the game and the mechanics, like the flying machines, the using of end crystals to revive the dragon etc.

The lava fight, for me, also illustrates the stakes at hand and why Dream was forced to retreat to a different location: Both of them had high stakes involved, but Dream's stakes were higher. For Dream, if he died here (as is the rule of any Manhunt), it was all over. But for Sapnap, his goal was simple: kill Dream. It didn't matter if he died or not; what mattered was that Dream wouldn't be leaving the lava alive. Brilliant animation overall. They should keep this up, for real.

what makes this epic is not just the fight itself but it's a fight between to best friends who have known each other for as long as their youtube carrier with only one coming out alive

This is just as, if not more entertaining than the actual manhunt video

All jokes aside, the fighting animation is amazing. Not only how smooth it was but the camera angles. It really made it more intense. I was getting excited.

I love how it’s not just dream dodging attacks/doing cool moves it’s the hunters too cuz some of the other battles/anamics just show dream dodging/doing insane fighting but when hunters are dodging or attacking it shows that they are really good too at pvp or 4vp :)

Dream and Technoblade may be the best of skilled Minecraft players out there, but Sapnap, at least in my opinion, is the most fun to watch. This animation proves that no matter what Dream does to try and wipe the floor with him in Manhunt, Sapnap has courage and determination, and a very impressive level of skill from the standpoint of average Minecrafters. Dream would tell you this, and I tell you now: NEVER, EVER underestimate the Fire Lord of Minecraft.

Ok, this has to be the COOLEST Animated fight EVER. That is probably the coolest thing I have seen all day.👍😃

I love how in the original when Dream punched George it's just the for Minecraft typical somewhat hurtful shove... And then you have this animation where Dream just SMACKS him, bodyweight and all.

Fun fact: at 0:28 Dream was literally on low hearts and nearly depleted hunger but faked his attack and confidence so well that the other hunters ran from the cave.

This animation is extremely well done, most impressive

imagine if these had lore like the smp did. 3 people wake up in a mysterious world with no clue what they're doing, just knowledge that they can hear each other from wherever they are at all times, but manage to survive together until one of them dies and respawns, then they realize they could have a sort of entertainment for themselves, hunting their best survivor to the "death" while he beats the goal they set up for him, beating the dragon in the end, (for lore reasons say it respawns instead of like normal) if he manages, they lose, if they kill him, he loses, after a few times of this manhunt they do, another survivor drops in, and they help him out and eventually he joins their game realizing they can't die permanently, so they keep playing. leading to some of the most epic battles which they record in art for ever.

THIS WAS SO SO SO IMPRESSIVE!!!!!! OH MY GOD THE FLUID MOTIONS, THE COLOURING, THE CHOREOGRAPGY OF THE FIGHT??? HONEST TO GOD YOU DESERVE ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT THIS WAS INCREDIBLE 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I think people forget that dream isn’t the big villain of the story in these manhunts. Remember Dream is The one Being hunted, he’s so good at quick thinking and planing that it manages to look like he turns the hunters into the hunted

yes but if you look at it from a different angle, the hunters are trying to protect a mother and her child from being killed by a psychopath. its all a matter of perspective.

It all depends on the perspective. From Dreams perspective, the hunters are trying to keep him from reaching his goal of proving himself to the rest of the world. From the hunters' perspective, Dream is a psychopath trying to take away the lives of an innocent dragon and her child.

This is the most epic fight animation I have seen. Nice work!

The sound effects themselves are amazing, like the sword and axe being swung in the lava, and the arrow being fired are so good

It was his only defense really: he had no food or anything to go off of other than intimidation and the fact that they didn't have any weapons.

3:10 Dream took some inspirational from Kool-aid man right there.

Dang that fight scene was freaking epic, even though I knew how it’d turn out I was on the edge of my seat.

My mind has even been more blown to bits, he's honestly inspires me to do animation, that fighting animation was awesome.
