So, after I succesfully made a video about these two, after a while I got inspired to make another.
On a side-note: I finished re-reading this book of mine a few days ago in the last week, and I'm very content with it, which is super rare. Everytime I re-read a book of mine, I figured that something is wrong with it, and after a while I decided to start it again from scratch, because I thought that I have to change too many things to just fix this or that, and so many times, when rewriting stories I changed complete story-lines, characters, relationships, endgame couples, and so on... But now, this one, I could finally say that it is is done! It is finished. Finally, after more than a decade of writing and rewriting (and almost not doing anything, besides writing) I can claim, that I have a finished book. It's honestly so wild. Lol
Btw, I'm working on the re-reading and editing process of another book of mine in the moment, which is 'Mercy', the one book, that Livia and Claudius are from, and I have a good feeling, that I can soon call it finished, too. And then I'll have two books done. It's crazy! And then, I will try to look for actual opportunities of getting them published.
Now, I don't know, if I have to add any more info on these two. Honestly, I really love the complexity of this relationship, and the whole process of their story. As I implied in the d-box under my last video about them, most of their story is a back-story. Almost all of their shared scenes are flashbacks. They have though, a few scenes in the present, when they eventually face each other after the terrible events and the betrayal.
I really love that I learned to work with my own ocs, but I wonder... How close in others' case the source material is to their own stories, because for me, sure, they have vibes and some similar dialouges/scenes, but some parts of it can be actually quite misleading. As for me, I can't portray these relationships as closely to the written ones, as much as I'd like to.
Nonetheless, I love to work with ocs, because they are still able to tell something about my stories, and before for a long time, I could never imagine that I would be able to do that even in the slightest.
