Lauren Sanderson on Mental Health (Full Interview) | JED Voices
Lauren Sanderson grew up with a feeling of distance from everyone around her in her home state of Indiana. It wasn't until she started seeing LGBTQ musicians being their authentic selves on the Internet, that she realized what was missing.
In this interview, we sit down with Lauren Sanderson - a TED talker turned singer/songwriter - to talk about LGBTQ identity, the Internet, self-reflection, and mental health.
Lauren put out a single in 2020 with collaborator, James Quick. Listen to their song "Sink" on major streaming services.

I love her answer about what gives her hope, that it's all happening exactly the way its supposed to happen.
I am here for this. One of my favorite artists and honestly one of my favorite humans. Love you Lauren thank you for advocating for Mental Health and the LGBTQ community. ❤️❤️
Yooo. The fuck. Love Lauren but the fuck. Why haven't more people watched this. The fuck. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Omg that’s amazing 🎉👏👏👏👏
You have inspired me to become an artist. I'm going to keep writing my own songs and I'm going to make my own music it's always been a calling I've been kinda of scared and I've never felt like I could sing. I always wrote my feelings and thoughts into poems and like I wrote more rap style or song styles. I love your rap music and I love this song I don't care you have it's more rock and I absolutely love it so much you crushed it honestly and your outfit in the video is so hot and gorgeous on you 🥰 thank you for being vulnerable being yourself and going for your dreams to inspire me and many others out here ❤️❤️❤️
