we all know the 5 of them were unhappy and wanted authenticity in their work so it makes sense that they all started to find that when camila left. camila started to find herself when she went solo and the four of them started to find themselves when they were a foursome under a new contract/legal situation that initially threatened to disband them fully, but then allowed them more freedom to write in their new project. and now that theyre all solo, they can really take control of their art at their own pace the way camila got to do when she went solo in the first place. im so happy for all 5 of them. not a lot of people could survive this industry and they were in extremely intense and high pressure circumstances during the years of your life when youre supposed to be learning the most about yourself

Lol wtf, Lauren’s always been since a child passionate about the arts (singing, writing, pairing, dancing, etc) including music and wanted to pursue a music career. You should really watch her solo Zach Sang interview before talking out of your butt. And see: “ Lauren talked since ages ago about her dream being arts/music since childhood. That’s what she’s wanted to pursue from the beginning. Having other likes and hobbies does not mean leaving your dream profession. And people don’t need formal education to read and inform themselves of subjects they like. What a condescending, pretentious comment you made.”

That's nonsense, you obviously know nothing about Lauren. Lauren spoke about her journey in the Zach Sang interview, you should watch that. Lauren always wanted to be an artist she just lost passion and motivation while in 5H in the restricted repetitive space they were in where they were creatively oppressed, she wasn't creating and expressing herself creatively and was struggling a lot with mental health too and other personal issues. She started getting her footing again and reenergizing in the last year or so when they were four and then even more so when they separated.

I like lauren a lot, she is smart, sweet, kind, and she is always being true to herself. Lauren jauregui is one of my inspiration in my life now. I hope i can meet you someday.

Emma Watson, Cole Sprouse, Tahj Mowry... etc. A of lot teen stars went to college and they turned out still being relevant if not influential. I'm sure that Lauren knows this but I hope that others like her make decisions without thinking whether or not it will still make them famous. Pursue being an artiste, not a celebrity.

I think she really sleep for a long time, she just wake up when camila left, thanks god she wake up tho and thanks to everyone who helping and always support her find herself again, because she has that talent but no passion to show it to the world. Her self discovery with music and vibe really begin when the group take hiatus. She more happy now with everything that happen in her life. Many people think she always akward when people asking the girls, i just think she doesnt like to talk about the girls because you know she honest person, she doesnt want the girls fans coming to her when her answer not something they want to hear. she has been more ruthless and borderline rude lately, but giving up on someone I love is just something I don't do. I understand that she's a 'difficult' person, that her sadness sometimes comes off as anger as well, that she doesn't answer well because she feels too deeply about a lot of things, but I see all those in myself (on a lesser scale of course) and I won't ever, in the foreseeable future, give up on Lauren for that exact reason. Difficult people deserve to feel loved too. People preach about loving originality and authenticity and honesty, but really there's only a certain type of all those that people would accept. People preach to embrace awkwardness but they do just really mean the cute type of awkwardness because that's the "acceptable" type of awkwardness. Even in telling people to love themselves we marginalise and compartmentalise the types that are 'acceptable' and whatnot. (idek why I'm ranting on KZread for God's sake)

Yeah me too. She changed so much, I started to see her act differently when Camila left. I'm just getting a feeling that she is not that close to any of the girls except for maybe Dinah. All the other girls have handled those questions maturely. I hate that she always says the 4 of us and acts like Camila never existed. Can she just grow up they were just a foursome for a year most of the time she was in the group they were 5. She was one of my favorites but lately I don't like how she acts.

I agree. In my opinion she has been the most immature about the situation. Just acknowledge that Camila was in the group and won the awards for them. Only 7/27 won awards after that they only got a "best fan award" but to nothing for their new music.
