I'm a pastor and three months ago I had a stroke that paralyzed the left side of my body. Two weeks after the stroke while in the hospital I listened to this song over and over. It was so exact at touching my injured soul that I just sobbed uncontrollably. It felt like every single word was a prophetic word to my heart. This song helped me work through my grief and keep me from becoming depressed. I can now walk-it's not pretty but I know it will improve.

I grew up in a christian family but just this last week I really let jesus in my heart. I have a relationship with him now and I long to read his word every day and talk with him before I sleep. He is my safe place when I feel alone. All my life he has revealed himself to me in a number of ways but I would always just allow my relationship with him to last for a certain seasons and then I would go back to allowing sin to overtake me. Just this last week I deleted TikTok from my phone and I have been avoiding electronics for most of the week. I would be on my phone for hours and I realized my behavior was very shallow and cold towards my parents when they would ask me to do something. Now that I have decided to put worldly things down and focus on Jesus Christ, I have never felt better. Thank you jesus for opening up my eyes finally after so many years of being in the dark. I love you Jesus🙏❤❤

Just learned my cancer is beyond any hope to cure this time. Every word of this song speaks to my heart as I prepare to go home now. No more pain, no more tears.

YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh. They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES. LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain. LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. Wow! This is what I needed today. I'm having a hard time with trust right now. Sept 29th - bicycle accident - spent 3 days in ICU, had a terrible seizure Oct 6th - Jaw wired shut for the next 4-6 weeks Oct 17th - back in the hospital with blood clots in both lungs, part of my right lung is dead Oct 19th - On my release of hospital, bumped my head. Due to anti-coagulants, have a new brain bleed, hospital stay extended. Oct 21st - ICV filter placed in vein to help avoid any more blood clots to the lungs Will be on anti seizure meds for 3 months. No driving! Will need to go back on anti-coagulants for 6 months once the brain bleed is healed A lot of unknowns! Pray I can trust in God! What an awesome song!

I just had surgery on my left knee and found out from the doctor that I have to have another surgery later on on the same knee because my knee is so messed up. God is always here. For me, for you, we just need to realize that it is during the hard times that God uses as a tool to show us both His presence and His love. In the hard times we realize God is really there and in the good times we forget Him. May God allow all of us to realize His goodness and His mercy throughout all times. Good and Bad. I am praying for you!

Michelle - thanks so much for your kind words, prayers, and encouragement. I ended up going back to the hospital with blood clots in both legs. A lot of pain. After 2 weeks with no progress, my wife become my advocate for another opinion. I ended up transferring hospitals, having surgery, and finally being released on 11/16/2015. It has now been 3 weeks since and I am on the road to recovery. I know many people prayed on my behalf, and I have been blessed. It has been hard for me to be willing to release my will to God's. I want to live and do live, but what if he would have wanted me to die? How do I get to that place of giving over my will?

He called it "Trials...the Path to Maturity". He told us about his kidney cancer that has come back, and spread to stage four...not for us to pity, or---I don't know, but we could understand that he knows about the mountain God hasn't moved, or the water He hasn't parted...your song meant a lot to him. It is beautiful.

In the depth of my marriage ending and extreme emotional pain, God has provided this song along with so many other blessings. I am so thankful for God's presence. I could not do this alone!

I can’t have kids & I came to terms with it. As my friends started having babies, it hurt my heart. I prayed over it, asking for Gods will to be done & if it was in his will for me to be a mother to provide me a path. My cousin referred us to an infertility specialist she used when she went through cancer treatments. Come to find out, they accept our health insurance, our insurance covers IVF in our situation & every door that needs to open for IVF treatments is being opened. I’m amazed at what God has done for me thus far! This song has helped me so much through all this ❤️

Way to go Eva. Jesus is celebrating with his angels in heaven. You are his sweet daughter forever. ( to follow up the comments above, there is only ONE true God, one God to pray to and rely on. And hes will guide and care for youball of your life. I dont feel any brainwashing was going om here. You organiclly came across God by uour self and he planted that seed in ur heart and your letting it grow)

Trust In You, I love this song it brings me comfort. I miss both of my parents every day. My mom died from Uterine Cancer (October-2012) My dad died he had a massive stroke (June-2014) My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968. My oldest son dad died on Christmas 2006 My grandmom died May 2020 My family pet died June 2020 My oldest brother was murder on August 27, 2020(shot and killed in front his baby boy at 7-Eleven store) in Richmond, Virginia. In loving memory of my mother & father and my older brother. I’m still grieving your lost, every time I breathe.

The war fed wasn't strong enough, God Will prevail, and his only one sent! God bless

Yes, it is and to think that she was on "American Idol" and didn't make it to the finals. She didn't win, but she has won God's Heart and she is now spreading "The Word" by singing His Praises in her songs/music. To God be the Glory and Praise. Thank You, God, for Lauren's beautiful and powerful voice and her God-given talent!

Been playing this song on repeat since morning while at work.....Yesterday was sitting for my Audit board exam (second attempt) yet I still failed,( 💔I am shattered so much that i can't even begin to explain given the chance too ) and yet still in this season of my life I am still TRUSTING and BELIEVING in God that he will surely come through and part this Ocean for me. To anyone out there who might be going through a similar situation that i am in whatever area in your life. just know that God will surely pull through for you, keep believing and praying for your miracle most importantly KEEP UP THY FAITH❤

I just turned 18. My whole life has felt like this never ending thing of just hardships. And the most…I don’t know. The worst one for us as a family and for my sister just happened. Through all of these hardships I have trusted in God. I know He can make something good out of all of this awful mess. And I’ve been trusting Him even with the bad stuff.

I just want to give everyone hope on KZread. My cousin was 19 years old and was extremely sick for the entire summer of 2016 and we found out on September 2nd, 2016 that it was cancer. Trust in You was her fight song through her journey. Things only got worse, her kidneys started failing and she was in the hospital for three weeks getting worse every single day. They had to put a ventilator in her because her breathing was so bad. Well 32 days later she passed away to an extremely rare Small Tissue Sarcoma at 19 years old. My entire family has always been in church and my grandparents are pastors so we believed she would be healed or be raised like Lazarus. That didn’t happen. Every single day was so hard for our family because we were so close and we believed she would be healed. My aunt started going around telling my cousins story with her husband (my uncle) by her side. Well in 2019 my uncle let everyone know that he was no longer a believer and left my aunt after 25 years of marriage because he “did not love her like that anymore” and “couldn’t get over my cousins death”. Well my aunt was a complete mess, her entire family had fallen apart in just a few years. She stayed faithful, trusting in God to move. Today marked 4 years since we lost my cousin and my aunt is in Mississippi speaking at a women’s conference about everything through the years. God is so faithful! She is being used in the ministry and has been asked to speak at several other conferences about their story! Everyone, God is faithful just trust him!!💕

My cat died yesterday, today while I pray I was feeling so down and I almost blame God for being so silent when I need him. But at this moment, I realized I will trust him through everything. ❤️❤️

When I first heard this song my momma was fighting cancer and this became my heart song to God and I passed it on to my mom. She lost her fight after a very short period, and while this song yet brings me tears, it is still my heart song...and I still trust in Him because "Your ways are always higher!" "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord!"

His faithfulness is timeless, and His love is never the less.

I really needed to hear this today, as I've been struggling in my own walk to trust in Jesus. I know it may seem horrible to say, but even as a Christian, I have moments when I think I can do things by myself. It says in the Bible that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength! By him, and through him, all things are possible ("Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:4) We can't live our lives saying that we've committed our lives to Christ, unless we actually have, and are continuing to doing so. I know I fall short every day, but I keep going back to him, and I keep trying harder to live my life for him, and living like him (Jesus). We need to actually hand over our life in Christ's hands, and trust in him. We just need to lift everything up into his hands, and trust in him. He is in control. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

I had pushed away Jesus numerous times, when he tried to speak to me. I simply didn't listen to his word. But I prayed, if he was there, for a message and he sent that wake up call. He had awakened me. Now I know times will be rough, but now knowing God and that he had been there for me the whole time I had denied him, will keep me and my faith for him growing stronger each day.
