Totally. I do think she was good about talking more about the makeup and hair mistakes than her own appearance. I think it’s so fun/funny to go back to high school (2007-2010 for me) and laugh at the awful fashion and beauty choices we made!! But I agree we can be too hard on ourselves!

Lauren says it was from all the second-hand smoke in the clubs as well as hangovers

She looks way way better in all of these photos than about 90% of my looks at that age. I remember watching Laguna Beach and thinking immediately how she reminded me of all the “cool girls” at my school.

True but I'm wondering if she was sick here. ..she looks sick & sounds like shes getting over a cold. She got too skinny I think, if not sick, 3 (or more, whatevers comfy for her but def more) more pounds & I'd feel like she looked healthier. I'm used to the bubbly-cheeked Lauren Conrad look. I'll accept the change tho, just surprised me a bit I think

She's commented on it before. She said moving to LA ruined her voice because she was in a lot of loud places. She said there were polyps all over her vocal chords. If you google it you'll find it.

Totally! She often had a 'I'm going to lose my voice at any minute due to laryngitis. Honestly, I think it was yelling at the clubs almost every night. Hard to talk over so much music and other people talking. Even without that, her voice had changed more than anyones.

I feel like the thinner eyebrows suited her better. Idk why. Just looked good. She's always beautiful! Love you Lauren :)

I know its the style now these thick eyebrows..but yes certain ppl look so much better with the 90s/2000s eyebrows. Lauren, Whitney and Sarah Michelle Gellar are a few that I couldnt work out why they looked so different. Then realised its the eyebrows. And they suit the side parting which isnt in fashion anymore.

@@precious4641 I agree. The thinner eyebrows even though they're plucked, give a younger, more elegant look. The current trend for thick, unnaturally rectangular slanted brows makes for a harsh, almost, angry look. Brows aren't naturally squared. She's still gorgeous though. 🙂

c she actually tried that before but people were obsessed with Jersey shore and the show was DOA. I stopped watching The Hills when she was gone and she went after a life without cameras on her face. She made her money and she moved on. The classiest woman on reality TV of all times

c I’ve watched the reboot of The Hills and it’s not terrible but everyone from the original show isn’t there so it’s honestly not quite the same. I’m happy LC moved on with her life and has a great career and beautiful family!

I really do hope the 2000s makeup trends come back. I'm very over the massive amounts of contouring and huge block eyebrow look.

She's so ultra critical of herself! Her eyebrows were overplucked, but better than the angry eye slanted, unnaturally rectangle ones she has now.

She's so hard on herself. She was gorgeous and someone most of us strived to look like. She looks more beautiful with thinner brows. Thick brows don't suit everyone.

She’s still one of my biggest obsessions, she seems like the sweetest thing ever, will always be one of my biggest idols. Such a beauty in and out.

I so agree. Eyebrows looked best on her Cosmo cover. They are to heavy now and she looks to pale. Not enough eyeliner. Thin lip. But still grounded and cute.

I think her right has always gone up higher than the left (2:05) but getting even a little botox as she got older would definitely make it appear higher relaxing the other muscles around it too!

LC is soo beautiful. Excited for her makeup line! To what she’s saying I think makeup trends change slower than clothes trends and that’s why you look back like “what was I thinking?”. The whole 2000s - plucked eyebrows, bronzer, gloss and rimmed liner. The 2010s trend was a beat face - sculpted brows, lashes, cat eye, contour, cut crease eyeshadow and liquid lipstick. 2020 is “no makeup” makeup - natural filled in brows, tinted moisturizer, tinted gloss, and fluttery lashes.

I'd like to see you and Whit back together on something, maybe just you 2 having a chat. I would love that x

I just recently rewatched the first 2 seasons of LB, and I couldn't get over all the razor cuts and the burned straight hair EVERY GIRL HAD! No ones hair had any body or movement at all. I'm so glad we've all embraced more natural textures now.
