Even with "an entirely Christian population," some group would start dismissing another group as "not being the right kind of Christian." That's basic sociology of cults. Ask your parents what they think about Quakers, for instance. Or Catholics - a lot of holy rollers dismiss Catholics, and uber-Catholics feel that way about Protestants.

At what point do the actions of the followers become the standard of the faith? How many times do Christians have to suppress other faiths before we can say it’s a mark of their beliefs? How many Muslim countries must subjugate women and girls before we can ask if Islam is sexist? I grew up watching my grandfather preach in a Baptist church. I've been taught my whole life (I'm 41 now) that conservatives are the ONLY defenders of the Constitution. Then, I watched my entire family and every religious person I knew, throw out the Constitution and their religious beliefs to vote for Trump. My circle of friends is WAY smaller these days and I no longer consider myself a christian. 🙏
