Hey, you never know until you at least try. Friends come and go like seasons. You can always find new ones. It'll hurt. But if you really care for him that way take that chance and tell him. It hurts worse to see him with someone else, and to think that could have been you. Just saying, take the chance.

@@Hipnochestra your comment just hit the wound so hard , the guilt overwhelm your heart and the memories in some point get forgotten , the good ones being hidden behind the scars and the desire to change what happened growing bigger in you heart and in some point you loss your shit , i wish no one gonna experience this , please whoever read this think deeply act wisely and made sure to calculate all the consequences, don’t let your feelings trick you , it’s much deeper than just a confess, much deeper than that , it’s been almost one year and half for me and nearly nothing healed , the shame still full my hear and make my body stiff whenever it cross my mind , be carful with your relationships , be carful to not loss any one.

I was in a really dark place my friend had died of cancer and I was picked on in school but I started listening to Lauren and she actually helped me through a lot, I'm really happy that I found her😢

Robert has a point that getting to know more is wise if you are someone who doesn't like change. Rather have a foolish heart than be heartless. Rather lose it all (although that's not a given) and live than be frozen. Life's too short. Rather take a risk and have to find a way to live with my decision than never know what my heart says is true. Rather have a life shared than a static state. I've seen a lot of people sharing their stories in the comment section, so I'd like to as well. About a month ago, I took an improv class and I met a boy there, and he and I became friends quickly. I met up with him a couple times after that, and I realized that I'd fallen in love with him. I get to see him again soon, but I have yet to confess to him.

I dedicate this to inr of my best friends, even though I only knew him for one year I really wish we could have been more. Today was probably the last day I will ever see him and this song reminded me of him so much. Next years gonna be pretty boring since he always made me laugh and smile. There's this boy close to my heart. We've been childhood friends but never really knew until we reconnected 10-9 years later (end of high school) We danced during prom and never really communicated afterwards. Few months later, we startes to reconnect again and learned about eachothers' childhood. We escalated to being best friends. We never treated each other more than friends would. We had lives of our own and we were growing. We had different romantic interests and such. Later on.. Just before college started, he confessed. I did too and although it was romantic.. It was also very confusing. We've been friends and this was new to both of us. The feeling is mutual. Nothing changed though. We talked about it and confirmed that we would rather have each other as best friends because jumping into a relationship might ruin what we have now and that starting and being in college would be difficult if relationships were to be brought along also. So now.. We're still friends lmao. But everytime we hang out is even more special than it used to be knowing that this peculiar boy is in love with me and i am in love with him too. This song just makes me think of us being afraid of loving like fools and that we might end up losing the friendship we've been trying so hard to maintain and build.

I’m telling something that broke me I met this girl.. I never knew I was into girls till her.. we got to talking and started to like each other.. we started dating... talking about meeting and how it would go.. later her friend came to me saying she cheated on me.. she was getting bullied at school.. I felt bad but I was hurt.. I asked her about it and said she had to so they didn’t know she was gay. A few months later I got the same friends saying she cheated again.. I broke up with her because she hurt me too many time’s... I was on a trip and her friend said she lied and told me what she wanted to say to me... we got back together.. This brings back all the happy yet painful memories... We started at a young age, I was 14, he was 15. I remember the dumb moments we spent together, just chatting hours and hours on the phone, talking about life, how much I want to go on a holiday, or just how he craves Japanese food, how much we just wanted to hop on a plane and see each other again. But as the months passed along, we started talking less... He got busy with school and adjusting to his new family, I had to start preparing for university. Slowly, our future together got hazy, he wasn't sharing that much anymore, and whenever I asked him about visiting he gave me excuses and excuses... Ik it doesn't mean much but i love this song and well.. a while back my now ex best friend confessed that he liked me, no one had ever liked me and no one has for a while since so i was so excited to think someone did, i liked him too at the time. We "dated" for a bit if you can even call it that, he always complained that all my date ideas were things we'd done already, as friends, so it wouldn't be special. We went on like 2 dates, he never asked me out but would costantly joke about kissing or hugging me, he seemed to see these things as more of a challenge to be overcome then an emotional important thing. He broke up with me the same way he confessed, over text. Now he barely talks to me, hes ghosting me, except when i talk to him, and even then its 2 word answers. I miss being his friend. After that, and still rn, i feel as if no one could like me. Especially since if someone who's known me my whole life didn't why would anyone else? But yeah thanks if you read this far, i know its a dumb thing and not a big deal but ig its big to me cause that's been my only relationship.

Dates are supposed to be a way to spend time together and make memories. It doesn't matter whether you already did them as friends. I think you'll find someone eventually but until then stay strong.

this reminds me of a story where two friends love each other during high school but they're afraid to confess so the guy was running away from his feelings and got himself a girlfriend. the girl avoided him after he has a girlfriend and they ended up growing apart after high school. the guy got married but when they met during reunion it was so clear that the guy still loves the girl and thought about how hurt he was after they grew apart and lost contact. it hurts cause they never have the chance to confess to each other and knew about each other's feelings. in the end they went their separate ways and gave up on their first love

Only found this music today, but this makes me wonder how am in love with a girl that is on the other side of the world. This is such a strong song, with such a relatable message. Every single sentence and word is crafted to touch broken hearts. I just want to say that I've been there. Through the pain and the hurt and the times when it was just so much. But I found this song and I listened to it, over and over again. It doesn't heal the broken heart, but it certainly helps you to learn to love it. Such a unique voice and a wonderful song
