Research shows that the best way to learn a language is to have authentic experiences with it with Comprehensible Input.
Rather than boring grammar lessons, we provide free interesting listening experiences for learners of Spanish. By listening to our stories, culture explanations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation. The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

- Overhead camera: amzn.to/2Cim95k
- Front camera: amzn.to/2yvW5CB
- Whiteboard marker (the BEST I found after trying many, even other models by BIC were not as good as this one): amzn.to/2C6k3c6

    I was looking dead at my Camino shell as I watched this. Lol. It gets me through the tough days. We hiked the Camino francés one January as part of my first trip abroad to study for a month. That’s what got me so interested in learning Spanish. Before that I couldn’t get interested in it. We had a whole trip almost entirely dedicated to hiking the last 150km (couldn’t do the whole thing because of time constraints and we had other things we had to learn to make it count as a course) while we learned about the role of pilgrimage in Catholic Spain during the Middle Ages up to the Reconquista. I would highly recommend the Camino de Santiago to anyone who’s into hiking. Buen Camino!

    This is great. It's like a crossover special episode on TV. And it's funny, but walking the Camino de Santiago is something I've wanted to do for a while. It was one of my reasons for learning Spanish in the first place. I had hoped to do it in 2020, had things been different.

    Have I jumped to intermediate too fast pablo? I came from Rosetta Stone Latin American spanish and find your video enjoyable can understand 80% of what you're saying in beginner spanish videos as they sound at a slow speed but i do pick up a small amoutn of vocabulary from them. Though with these intermediate videos half the time it sounds fast and the other half it sounds normal speed. Im getting the idea of what you're saying but cant pin point all the words. Should I just keep listening to the videos until you speaking at this rate slows down for me so i can pick apart the words or should I go back to beginner and get more vocab? Any advice?

  • @DreamingSpanish

    @DreamingSpanish

    Getting around 80% of the meaning sounds about right. In this case, trying to push ourselves too hard can be counterproductive and the optimal rate of acquisition is when receiving input that's easier than most people think.
