Laura Beatrice Marling (born 1 February 1990) is a British folk singer-songwriter and musician from Eversley, Hampshire. Album "I Speak Because I Can", was released on 22 March 2010. Produced by Ethan Johns, the album has a more mature sound and lyricism, dealing with "responsibility, particularly the responsibility of womanhood". The album is preceded by the singles "Goodbye England (Covered in Snow)", released on iTunes in December 2009 and "Devil's Spoke" on 15 March 2010. On 28 March 2010, I Speak Because I Can entered the UK Albums Chart at Number 4. It was also nominated for the 2010 Mercury Music Prize. In 2013, NME listed the album at 263 in their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

If we neglect a bit far-fetched premise that those two started to reach out for each other because they both dreamt of deer, this is a truly wonderful movie. I have lost faith in movie romances because they all follow the same childish pattern, they are neither written nor acted out properly, maturely and above all believably. This movie restored my faith, European authors can still produce movies with a soul and true, raw emotions, however restrained they may be here. Both Alexandra Borbely and Geza Morchanyi are simply breathtaking in their roles, and this soundtrack is, unexpectedly, put to good use. There is still hope for true art in this modern concentration camp of the world.

I agree that this is true art in a world where movies are directed following the same money-earning script. Yet, neglecting an essential part of the story because it is "far-fetched" would be por judgement. This film never claimed to be realistic, it's heavy with symbolism and subtlety to express a message, not to document the unfolding storyline.

If you're in for another good romance movie then "In The Mood For Love" should be on your list. It's a film directed by Wong Kar-Wai. I consider this film as the best in the 'love story' genre. Especially the poetic fragments in this film are sublime.

@@bolderiks Thanks for the recommendation. I have seen it four times so far, Wong Kar-Wai is one of my favorite modern filmmakers. The only one I haven't seen yet is the movie in English with Norah Jones. "In the Mood For Love" is, of course, magnificent, I listen to the soundtrack on a daily basis.

@@krastavac84 WKW is one of my favorites to. No matter wat the subject of the movie is, he always manages to create poetry in motion. Actually, the closer the work of a filmmaker resembles to that what Andrei Tarkovsky created, the better it gets for me.
