I'm just glad that energy like this still exists in music. It seemed to have disappeared for a few years.
that chorus, that FUCKING CHORUS!
been waiting for a decent quality version of this for aages and its GOOOD
And she'll be better than any musician before her.
hollyyy craapp i think i pissed on the wall of my house
i cannot wait for this album...it is going to be amazing!
Best AM! song since The Ocean.
Love this so much
it's fucking perfect!
played this last night at rock island. twas awesome.
This next album is gonna rip, especially with Jay Weinberg behind the drums. The energy is back! Even though I honestly love White Crosses, I'm excited.
I want to buy this! I hope you release this on a physical format of some kind soon. The IIOI cassette was amazing, music and photo.
Love that familiar voice @ 0:56 I can dig it.
Hella nice.
GREAT shit.
I love White Crosses too...I don't understand where all the hate it gets comes from. But this new album shall be amazing as well.
What a chorus. Haha. Nice.
Hey! Do you have a CD out? I'll buy it HUN! great Song!!!!! Take care out there!
I love Tom Gabel and Laura Jane Grace exactly the same. I will however be a little sad if that amazing voice goes away :(
amazing person, amazing musician. love this guy.
He performed this in Pittsburgh Saturday night! It was brilliant!
I love you Tom Gabel.
He left Sire and the big producers. Started their own label and studio, and so far these new songs sound extremely promising. He is an amazing songwriter, so I'm with you, give us some of the folk-punk sound that we all grew to love.
Another song that I can't sing: way to go Tommy. Your vocals are untouchable by age.
Great vocals from Tom. Really looking forward to their next album.
It's his career, his music, don't tell him what to do.
Heath Ledger's ghost says, "Lookin' good, Tommy."
I didn't have the space to mention that I love Tom's solo career and I think I'll like this song unless they remove all the edge from it on the album.
Tom's hair is fucking long now!
What, you let some big studio production ethics ruin it for ya? They're the same band, just fine-tuned and more comfortable with themselves. Go back and listen to New Wave/White crosses a few times... read the lyrics and whatnot. Stew on it for a while before you let the change change your mind. Aaaaand, this is just Tom Gabel... I dunno if you've heard any of the others, but he's been doing the solo thing for a while now, most are up to par.
if New Wave and White Crosses would of sounded this good, he'd still have his old fans...
Ok Tom, I know you don't want to go back completely, but don't just continue on until you're just another rock band. What drew me to you guys was a folksy sometimes country inflection with punk songs. New Wave lacked that. Even Searching didn't have enough. White Crosses just ran from it entirely. I'm fine with change, but don't run towards the mainstream like that, there's more than enough of them as it is.
