What a great video! I love reading her books as well and am fascinated by her life and her family's life. Eventually I will make a trip to Mansfield. Again, you gave a wonderful presentation. Thank you!

It's unfortunate that none of the Ingalls four daughters had any children. What a treat it would be to know some of their descendants. I'd love to have lived back then.

I really didn't understand your comment so I went back and listened the video again and I still don't get your point. I talk quite a bit about Rose Wilder Lane in this and specifically mention that she didn't have any children "that lived" I normally add "to adulthood" but I didn't in this insistence. There is very little known about the child and people assume a lot and make up details, but all that is actually known about it is from one vague letter.

No, Laura had a daughter. Her name was Rose Wilder Lane, who gave birth to a stillborn son, and was unable to have any more children, due to some sort of surgery.

Oh, I was referring to the OP's comment saying that it was a shame that none of Mr. and Mrs. Ingalls' 4 daughters ever had any children; I was just correcting the poster by pointing out that Laura did in fact have children, and that her daughter Rose had a son who died. I think the OP meant to say that it's a shame there aren't any direct descendants (which I know you discussed in your video) :)
