Wow, you're right! Completely missed it cause I don't listen to Don't Wait at all these days.
The contrast. I discovered this song today, a uniquely difficult day. The balance is real, while the day was black af, this song and another from this album discovered also today, helped make it all ok. Moreso, they helped me to make myself ok. This song. I can hardly breath while it’s playing, especially towards the end. I’ve said it before: I believe I chose this life, primarily because despite all that will happen that is painful and of loss, the music will be so incomprehensible and truly divine, that life will be more than balanced out as a result, and that I’ll feel like my mortal body can’t handle listening to it at times, as if the veil between a worlds is lifted for a moment and I’m experiencing something I was never supposed to. But I do. Right here, and this song is the latest example I don’t know how such unfathonably indescribable beauty can exist in this world oftentimes , yet here is one such heavenly jewel given to us by the hard work of Laura Brehm

Alright, so I felt like translating the lyrics of this song to german, to japanese, to armenian and a few others before going back to english. The result is honestly not that bad: I can see the birds Fly to them Such a wonderful sea And they stumble In turn to the channels They wanted to come here How did we get here? The three major exceptions are 1)the very funny ''Stumble'' instead of ''glide'' 2) The even funnier ''Jump away'' at the end and 3)''hollow child''? How in the world did we get from black hole to hollow child? Anyways, whoever comes accross my comment, I hope you enjoyed my weird experiment.

So after a month(wait...it's closer to two months already), I'm torn between this and Rain as my favorite song in the album. Rain is so beautiful and relaxing, but Fly Away's second half is just epic. Until The Sun, London Sky, The Darkest Night, One You Wanted and The Dawn Is Still Dark are all not far behind, however. But, really, the only song that I outright don't like is Trouble, so this album is in my opinion the most consistent she's ever done, even counting small EPs such as Breathe.
