It's true that most of korean actors can sing to an extent but he's the first non idol-actor who I can say is a professional singer and sings even better than a lot of pro singers. He could easily win a few rounds in king of masked singer if he ever tried that program. He's just too good of a singer to be real for this level of an actor.

I used to only like old movies from the 1930'-50's from the U.S. all before my time, I had seen almost everything growing up, but when I became sick I found the movie Empress Ki and I was hooked in an instant Ji Chang Wooks performance was outstanding, I can't remember where I first saw it but I started looking for more of his work. At that time, it was kind of hard-to-find K Dramas and movies from Korea, I prefer K Dramas. And Korean movies mainly with Ji Chang Wook. Anyway, I found some on youtube at that time. I think then my husband got me a subscription to Viki and, I kept calling Netflix asking for more Korean movies with Wookie, and stopped watching anything on Netflix that wasn’t Korean. The next thing I knew was they started adding more Korean movies to Netflix it did take a little time, but they could see on our Netflix site that I didn’t watch anything else, except Korean movies and Dramas, now Netflix is flooded with them I’m happy to say I do know it wasn’t because of me but I like to think I had a hand in it. A few years back I watched the Drams K-2 with my husband and now he’s a big fan. I also am now cancer free and am able to see more friends it seems like my husband and I always end up talking about Wookies great talents and all of the wonderful movies, songs and Dramas we have watched that he has made and the rest of the Korean actors too We are so impressed with the Korean talent as a whole, we no longer think there are any actors in the U.S. that can compare to Ji Chang Wook or your other Korean talent. We are also amazed that so many actors in Korea can not only give outstanding performances in acting but singing and sometimes dance or martial arts, it seems that these are amazing accomplishments for one country. You should be so proud. Ji Chang Wook and the rest of your Country are to be admired and respected very much, you not only have you all captured the interest of people across the world but for those of us who started with your movies and dramas tv and singing talent it has led to wanting to learn of your people and customs history and all that encompasses your beautiful people and culture. You have taken a woman who was very ill and took my thoughts away from my situation and filled me with awe and wonder as I made my journey back to the living, of course I must mention I have a deep faith in God, and I also felt him with me as I came back. But you made it easier to get through each day filled with pain.
