Hands down the absolute loudest aircraft at full power during a cat launch on the flightdeck of any carrier , Those j-52 turbojets would rattle the fillings out of your head , The prowler could carry the agm-88 harm missle if needed , Great video brought back alot of memories !

As it’s a 4-seater, finally a family friendly jet! Can’t wait to get one!
Grumman made as well as the F14 Tomcat! these planes stood the test of time.
We flew AD 5 skyraider already at 514 and 516 squadron’s at Bien Hòa AF base south Vietnam in 1970 .Thanks for memory reviews during Vietnam war. (South VNAF & RCL Veterans) 😅🇺🇸🇨🇦🇫🇷🇦🇺🇬🇧🇩🇪🇮🇹🤷♂️🤷♀️

Was in 179t way back when F100's, AP. there a year then went to 122nd in Fort Wayne, IN.👍👍👍
Midday had some back in '76 when I was aboard.
Long since retired
Some smart people designed that aircraft
Just a note for editing, "weapon less plane" and "weaponless plane" have wildly different meanings.

The 'Minivan' was a marvel of modern technology, though it didn't look like it.
in 1977 VMAQ-2 had the last EA-6A.

I worked avionics with H&MS 14 in Cherry Point. Knew the 'bunnies' well.

Careful what you wish for....Trump will sell Taiwan out to China in a heartbeat if he can make a resort deal to allow his country to do business there. No morality in the man.
EA-6 hasn’t been used by USN for many years please focus on current and future aircraft 😮

They had a great bomber there and then they left it for a more costly less destructive aircraft. They could have upgraded this most dangerous bombing plane and saved tax payers hundreds of billions of dollars. But they like the air force keep buying newer stuff with more speed and claim its better because it can also be a fighter. Planes designed fore a specific job do better than planes designed for multiple jobs.

Why these people would do this stuff , risking their lives for a drooling Dementia Patient and a Cackling Hyena on Knee Pads is Beyond me. Wait until we have a change at the top first. At least! Thats my advice.
