I loved the battle music, it reminded me of mega man, super cool.

So hyped for this one! Already know I’m getting there on the perfect line. I’ll be Speedrunning Llama RPG till the day I die. Two quick ones and I’ll have LRPG world record with my clutchness!! So CLUTCH I’ll never see a 113 till the day I die baby!

People change ya know. So are opinions.

I can't believe someone spent a few years making this game in the 2020s. Games from 20-25 years ago were more complex and visually pleasing. Some amateurs make games like this over a weekend during game jam events. I can't imagine someone playing it for fun; this game will be dead in no time once hardcore mrllama fans get bored. I love mrllama's D2 content, but this is just MrPoopRPG... Waiting for the rainbow necromancer part 2 video

Your criticism is unnecessarily harsh. Games can transcend “muh graphix!” My favorite game since Diablo 2 is buriedbornes which has nothing but static pictures.

I'm not some llama superfan and I still think this game has a lot of potential. I'm a fan of turn based JRPGs though. Lots of games have classic graphics in a similar style nowadays (terraria is the first one that comes to mind). However, I do think the full release should have more fleshed out animations during battle and the music, while catchy, doesn't fit the style of a 16 bit game. Music actually has a huge impact on immersion IMO. If the music could somehow be converted to MIDI or 8-bit, it would fit way better.
