Which book is best to understand javascript?

Good day Akshay sir, please i have a question concerning a previous video u made on event loop amd execution context. Some tutorials say that when a function is called, after memory allocation bla bla, d code starts execution from the innermost function's console.Log statement. And then find its way out to the global environment. But your videos say that a program goes lexically from top to bottom. Its a bit confusing. Look at this particular code: function foo() { function bar(a) { i = 3; console.log(a + i); } for(var i = 0; i bar(i * 2); } } foo(); //the above code would cause an infinite loop because i would always be = 3. i understand how the JavaScript engine will try to find i in bar scope and when it can't,since it wasnt declared, it just goes out to foo scope and den finds it in var i = 0. it den assigns 3 to i. so i would always be 3. the solution to it would be to declare var i = 3 in bar. so thats not d problem i have. I understand dat. //wat i need to understand sir, is wen foo is called, where does d engine start looking at first? does it start from d for loop, or does it start looking at bar first. if it starts from the for loop, then i would not be set to 3 and it wont be infinite loop. i just need to understand how the engine would single thread through the code and loop 9times. Thanks sir

Hey ! I think you are missing quite a basic concept here !! A Function needs to be invoked in order for it get executed !! Think of the scenario as what would happen if you wouldn't have invoked foo() at the end. nothing would have executed so surely the loop gets executed first and inside the loop bar() is called and I hope this solves your query :D

Fetch is an API. It returns a promise object for the url you specify.
