LAUNCHING a ROCKET in Transport Tycoon
Ойындар
Description:
I may have peaked with this one
I had to re-upload due to a copyright claim on the outro song. It probably doesn't matter either way, but I have a lot of old stuff on this channel, and losing it would be pretty sad.
Playthrough Save File:
drive.google.com/file/d/1Wqty...
I've done my best to assure that this save file will work without having to locate any mods outside of the in-game mod browser.
I apologize for any confusion these hard-to-find mods may have caused with the game saves from my two previous playthroughs.
OpenTTD Logic Resources:
Logic Gates: wiki.openttdcoop.org/Logic
Some Applied Logic Tutorials: / @lugnutsk
Various Circuits & More Complex Designs: / @jewogrfs
OpenTTD has a very long history and was never extremely popular, logic resources are few and far between and may require some digging to find.
Learning basic logic gates is a good place to start, and will provide you the tools to create most anything.
CityMania Client:
github.com/citymania-org/cmcl...
At the moment of upload, the most recent version is a 14.1 pre-release.
Though incomplete at the moment, this version is still compatible with OpenTTD 14.1, both in single player and multiplayer.

Sorry for the re-upload, the outro song got claimed and I had to re-edit the outro sequence. I'm not sure if it matters either way, but I really don't want risk potentially losing an old channel that I care about a lot. All in all, this took around 3 straight weeks to edit, not including the time it took to record gameplay. I could have just swapped the audio, but it seemed like a lazy solution. I put a lot of effort into making these videos as good as possible, including syncing audio, providing unique visuals and gameplay, and making sure the final project is "complete". Audio swaps take away intentional detail and overall reduce the quality of the final product.

Pro tips, upload the music as private or the other thing and see if it’s claimed so you knozw which song is claimed ✌️😎

@@Lama___ I had it scheduled to go public a couple hours after uploading the file, somehow it didn't get detected until it went public 😥

Very weird Factorio mod

this is not Factorio this is OpenTTD
Imagine going to work in a building that is not only completely encircled by trains, but also has trains running below it
That train logic is wild, and seeing it used for a semi-practical purpose here is especially neat.
Man casually builds working logic circuit in game.
This is absolutely crazy! I’ve been playing Transport Tycoon/OpenTTD on and off for nearly 25 years and while I can build a pretty hectic network, this (and your other playthroughs) are on a **completely** different level. I can’t wait to see what else you’re cooking up! Seriously impressive work :)
Factorio refined to it's best parts Trains and building rockets
H. Jon Benjamin constructs a rail empire
This guy created a computer using trains only to display the number of rockets 😂. I love it 🚀
I'm so glad you stuck to the single video for the playthrough, this was a joy to watch. The preview for the next video is terrifying.
I think you are the only guy these days that do these complex openttdcoop-like builds. Nice job dude and really appreciate these videos.
Loving the part where you drew diagrams of what changes you were making to a junction, more of that would be neat. Also absolutely loved the outro thing you made, I appreciate all the work that went into this.
16:10 very SUStainable train junction infrastructure
woke up this morning, saw this at the top of my feed, instant watch. one question - when it come to openttd... can you miss? are you capable of not producing a banger?? thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through
insane build, loved how the metal industries turned out at the end!
Your original OpenTTD series along with these last two amazing videos inspired me to download the game and give it a shot again for the first time in years. I've had so much fun learning about this completely different type of brutally efficiency-focused design and it's got me thinking about this game in a whole new light (the signal logic in this video blows my mind!!). Thanks for the entertaining videos my guy :)
Reposting my comment to get you the sweet, sweet engagement you deserve Quality video, I love seeing monorails get some love, and the deep-dive into logic circuits was very fun
Great video! The FIRS steeltown economy does have an end goal. It is about producing vehicles that need 4 tertiary inputs.
The Final Countdown
Wait wth? I gotta get this industry set! Also, I absolutely love the naming convention that you have for your junctions
This channel is deeply underrated. Thank you for making amazing videos.
Rocket? I hardly know it!
2:08 you can change the settings so only primary industries spawn and you need to pay to build 2' and 3' industries. I don't remember exactly where this setting is found as I haven't played in a while but this is my preferred way to play with some industry sets Edit: now that I've thought about it some more it may be a setting in the newgrf itself. But I'm fairly certain there's a way to do this in vanilla too Edit 2: there's the funding only setting combined with letting the player fund new primary industries in either random or set locations. Though this isn't quite what I was looking for
Was not expecting that amazing outro, Spectacular video ChuggersLR!
Great video, and I'm excited for the next one! I have a suggestion - idk if you've already played the Wasteland GRF set, but it definitely seems suited to your content. An interesting progression system and a lot of scalability

I do listen to it in-game sometimes, along with some of the grf music packs :D
How did you copy the station and where are the others features from? They are not to be seen in JGRPP (Hope I'm right with the grammar)

It is a patch named "CityMania". It has many additions to make building easier, and works with vanilla OpenTTD
