I always had lauki ka halwa same process & lauki halwa is a mandatory sweet in some customs during wedding. Frankly speaking lauki in dessert or lauki with prawns both are my favorite combination. Thanks Chef KK for sharing this recipe. My husband hates lauki n this barfi is a perfect way I can fool him to eat lauki :-D

Sir, since I am a bengali, in our home town a very tasty sabji is prepared with bottle gourd called Lau Ghonto. Sometimes shrimps are also added to this dish.
