More so because they have a NO NONSENSE approach to cricket with the team goal overriding individual goals with the ultimate aim of winning trophies. This mentality cannot be replicated in India, ever, except maybe in individual circumstances. It is also because Indians' expectations put an incredible pressure on players. Aussies probably play under much less pressure from their own supporters.

@@AAAAAA-gj2di I think he played at most two games in 2015 CWC and didn't make any impact and won the trophy. ,as a squad member. But in his second coming ,after being booed ,he has delivered high class performances .(both T20 2021 and 2023 CWC). There is a difference

What a guy!

Well done Mitch. Can I say as a young cricketer growing up in the 70’s, I was lucky enough to get my equipment from Muelamen’s in Canning Highway. So to hear his son was key for Mitch was really great, and brings back memories. I also remember Bob coaching me at Dennis Lillee’s cricket school in Belmont. Bob was our coach and I remember facing Lillee and Alderman. You had to make sure you threw the ball back on the full, otherwise Dennis would bowl you a bouncer - even when you were only 14. Bob Mueleman (apologies if spelling is wrong), was so key then when I was playing at South Perth. Well done Mitch!

This shows how commited the aussies are for TEST cricket .

I'm claiming to have always been on the Mitch Marsh bandwagon. Still have the text message I sent my mate in November 2015 where I said if he stays fit he'll be our best ever all-rounder. Notwithstanding a miracle that is unlikely to be the case. Still, I can safely declare that I was never boo-ing him!
