Every morning just on first light, for the past four half years, I hear my kookaburra "alarm clock". Honest, they never miss a morning.

Molto interessante.
Was/were camping on the banks of the river Murray...we'd all had a huge night drinking and having fun ...these guys at dawn ...in every tree with their song ...just amazing ...just watched and listened for ages ...cooking breakfast...we tossed out bacon rind which they would grab and beat against the ground or tree branch as if it was a snake or lizard ...the most amazing , beautiful and happy birds ...they stayed with us all day
