R.I.P. Stephan Liv and Karlis Skrastins :(

We're not getting so much better. Latvian team is varying every year. Just because we had some good games this year, doesn't mean we'll succeed the next one. So the real battle, until the ice hockey is developed here, is for staying in top division. Sweden has always played good, no matter how few stars they have.

This was a historical moment for Latvia, surely our best achievement this year.

It was a good hit. Karsums is just built like a truck and Enstrom was off balance. I like Tobi and hope he recovers soon.

latvia has a long time hockey tradition and is a country of less than 2 million people. they're amazingly good at it considering how small of a country it is.

He didn't really, he braced for impact as he slowed down and lost balance. The thing that was dirty on Karsums side was that he tackled him full force, Karsum is a big guy and probably wheighs about 200+ pounds. The hit didn't really affect the game, but I still think it should have been at least a minor penalty for boarding! A, small compensation for a broken jaw. Best of luck in the tournament Latvija!

Enström injuries was an accident, but what Karsum did was still a boarding according to rulebook.

That game was really good. Latvia is so small country, but so big in hockey. And..YEs - SARAUJ!

Well, well, the king of boarding strikes again. Karsum did another one against Austria. This time he got what he deserved. Second time out!
