Latte's Korean Class Lesson 2✍ / ASMR Korean Teacher

Hi guys! It's Latte :)
Today's video is Korean class lesson 2. It has been so long since I made my first Korean lesson video. I actually tried to made this in January but I did not have much time to make it at that time. I hope you enjoy this video and have a nice day! :D ❤

Summary for those who fall asleep but want to learn Combined vowels ㅐ(ae) ㅔ (e) ㅒ(yae) ㅖ (ye) ㅘ (wa) ㅝ (wo) ㅟ (wi) ㅚ (wae) ㅙ (wae) ㅞ (wae) ㅢ (eui/we) Extra Notes: •Latte mentioned that if ㅐand ㅔsound similar to you, use the example of dad and dead. ㅐ would be pronounced like dad andㅔwould be pronounced like dead •Latte also said that you can pronounce ㅒ and ㅖthe same way since it’s so similar •The words with ㅜ or ㅗ make w sounds because when said fast, it sounds like w • ㅢ looks like eo, however, it is the combination of ㅡ (eu) and ㅣ (i) That’s why it’d be pronounced eui or we. Combined Consonants ㄲ (gg) ㅆ (ss) ㄸ (dd) ㅉ (jj) ㅃ (bb) Notes: •Combined consonants are just two of the same consonants combined. The only difference in pronouncing them is that combined vowels are pronounced more strong/roughly (?) (Thats how I can explain in text I’m sorry) Words 까마귀 (crow) 배 (ship/belly) 애벌레 (worm) 사과 (Apple) 의자 (chair) 의사 (doctor) 왜 (why) 학생 (student) Expressions 나는 ______ 입니다 •The verb/ adjective should be added in the blank. It translates to I _______ am (the Korean order is different) If you added 학생 in the blank, it’d be I student am which translates to I am a student. You could also add your name in the blank. That’s it for that. If you haven’t, please do watch the first part. If you fall asleep, please look up a Hangul chart or something. I’m sorry if there are any mistakes because I’m not fluent in Korean and English too, isn’t my native language. Good luck learning a new language. You can do it! 사랑해!

+Iminye ASMR Someone asked me the same thing recently, so I'm just going to copy and paste what I wrote. Right now, I'm using Talk To Me In Korean (they have a youtube channel, facebook, free e-books and ones you can buy but they're pretty expensive), SweetandTastyTV (I don't use her channel, but I heard she's a good source), Korean Unnie, italki and/or HiNative (these two are forums where you can speak with native speakers of Korean), KoreanClass101, and How to Study Korean are all the sites/youtube channels I use. You need to learn 한글 first before you even try to speak the language. The alphabet is easy to learn, should take you no more than two days to memorize the entire thing. The site I would recommend for learning the alphabet is How to Study Korean: www.howtostudykorean.com/unit0/ Then from there, start learning how to form sentences and memorizing small words like 이,그,저 (this, that, that [when something is far away]). Some things will be hard for you to catch on to, but keep practicing and you'll get it. Good luck!

Wow lol I took Korean in high school like... 15 years ago, and this video is really bringing it all back to me. You're a very good teacher, Latte! Like everyone else, I would love more lessons like this! Also, the chalkboard sounds totally don't bother me, and I'm wearing headphones! =) Edit: If you think the chalkboard sounds are too harsh, I'm sure a white board would sound totally fine!

I would definitely love it if you did because you're one of the only asmrists that can actually give me tingles and relax me without needing to skip through the video and I would love to learn more about the Korean language through you. Keep up the great work Latte! 💕

I love learning languages, that's one thing, but there's also something about the combination of the Korean voice sounds in conjunction with the chalkboard sounds as you write the letters that makes this so outrageously relaxing. Great video!

This is actually really helpful. I love how Latte actually explains how to say the syllables, and tells us the difference between the ones that sound the same/similar. Using the sounds that are made in English to describe how some of the words in Koran are said is very helpful to me. I've never really benn interested in learning Korean, but this spikes my interest a lot!! Thank you Latte!! 😊😊

I try to be. :) I mean there are already so many bad things in the world, so I attempt to be nice to myself (and to others) as much as I can. We all deserve our love. I feel that life has bright and gloomy periods, it can't be helped, it's part of nature. So when things are dark, I surround myself with things that bring me happiness. And things get better again, eventually. :)
