Hi, thank you for reviewing Raghba ( means desire in Arabic) this is Musk, Sandalwood, Agarwood, Oud, Vanilla, Sugar, Incense..this mixture always gives a burnt rubber/ doll head funky smell (This applies on Rosendo 5, YSL Babycat, Laboratorio Olfattivo Vanagloria) I personally cannot do this type of Spicy Sweet Woody Arabic perfumes and cannot stand smelling them on someone, this makes me ill and nauseous although I am an Arab and grew all my life surrounded with this scent profile.... That s me saying.

I've had my eye on this one for awhile. And i just (last week) spotted a bottle on ebay that I saved to my watch list. It sounds really nice. I had another perfume called Arabian Oud that's supposed to be very similar and it was gorgeous!! I want to get it again at some point because I really loved it. I probably don't need that one and the Lattafa, but I still want to try this one anyway since I'm currently out of my Arabian Oud. Thanks for your review! Very helpful. 😊

I blind bought it and love it. It’s very comforting. Just enough oud and i am a vanilla nut so i love the sweetness.

I just bought this and am super impressed. I almost wrote it off after only smelling it on paper, but on my skin - it is a vanilla-musky fragrance. Not too sweet either.. Yummy 😋

I prefer raghba wood intense because the sweetness is a ton down and is smokey like by the fireplace.Raghba og is nice gift for a young girls my daughter likes it.

I just got it today and all I smell is Vicks. I'm gonna let it sit and hopefully it gets better. All the 3 that I have gotten smell exactly the same in the beginning but the dry down gets better.

I love it too! Wish it lasted a bit longer.

Lovely perfume

I blind bought it 3 years ago and when I got it me and the people around me instantly hated it. Way too powerful and sweet. Headache inducing.

Well it is very warm right now in Belgium (28°) and let me tell you, this scent is perfect with this heat. It sticks to the skin despite you sweating. I looooove it !❤

I purchased a blind buy on an Arabic perfume. It was in a gold bottle. It was so bad! I couldn’t wash it off myself fast enough. I think that scared me off from other Arabic fragrances.

I first smelled Raghba when I ordered a decant. I liked it okay. It was before the oud trend hit like wildfire! lol Last Christmas, a friend gifted me a bottle. She had ordered it and said she just couldn't stand it. She said all she could smell was "funk" and forgive me for this..."unwashed" private areas. Soooo, after that...I really could not "unsmell" it. I have almost a full bottle and the spray deodorant, if anyone is interested.

Fragrantica’s page for this has a bunch of reviews where ppl mention this, which is utterly ridiculous. Some nut suggested it and the lemmings followed. I fairly quickly burned through a 30ml a year or two ago, using it a lot… and recently bought a 100ml online from a Dutch version of eBay. It is an unused bottle in box manufactured 2014(!) smells the same as the 30ml did, excellent!!

I really enjoy Raghba! I sometimes smell a cherry wood accord in it as well. It gets better over time, I guess it needs some extra macaration! Not sure why there are so many polarizing reviews of it on Fragrantica 🤔

Because it is polarizing, just way too much for my nose and nothing sweet about it just like a woody fire!

My brother liked this one. Then prefered lataffah Sheikh Al Shuyukh luxe edition which received many compliments.

I love Raghba, it's gorgeous but Sheikh Al Shyukh LUXE EDITION is beautiful and it's my signature scent. I can't live without Sheikh Al Shyukh LUXE EDITION!! The only other perfume that I alternate wearing with Sheikh Al Shyukh LUXE EDITION when I want a change, is the beautiful, sensual Raghba. I don't need anything else. Sheikh Al Shyukh LUXE EDITION and Raghba are enough for me. I love them both that much. ❤😊.

I wanted this for a long tine. I didn’t smell it myself but bought it for my dad. He likes it but says it would be too masculine for my taste. This surprised me because so many women love it. Then I started seeing it sometimes marketed as a men’s fragrance and sometimes as a women’s. Now I’m wondering if there are two versions rather than one unisex version originally thought. Hoping someone might shed some light on this. Thanks!

Guys can pull it off but it leans way more to feminine

I get the smokey, very little Oud , the vanilla and sugar and the warm spices. Doesn’t remind me of Oud Bouquet because the spices here are strong and they take it into a different direction for me. It’s a like but not a love for me.

I’ve tried it but decided against a full bottle.

Thanks for the review. I have always stayed away bc of the Oud, but you made it sound so good. How strong is the Oud? (I hate oud)

Hmm Fragrantica says it's similar to 24 Gold and Xerjoff Bouquet Ideal. Not super popular ones though 🙂

I started out with "Raghba Wood Intense" and the first two bottles were heavenly incensey vanilla (More vanilla than smoke though). Then the third bottle I bought was pure smoke and I HATED it! Decided to buy "Raghba" and give it a try...and I just don't like it. Something about it smells like saliva. These days I go to "By the fireplace" for my smoky needs...until I find something more vanillic and smoky. Looking into "Lush - Lord of Misrule" in the fall when it releases in Body Spray format again.

See I don't get that crazy sweetness. I am testing Raghba on one hand and Yara on the other hand. And Yara is SWEET but I get more woody with some sweetness for Raghba. Like half as sweet.

Sounds like what a lot of people want - nuclear sugar bomb! 😄The antithesis of what I want! I appreciate that you describe the notes you smell in addition to the usual “amazing” “incredible” “awesome” phrasing that accompanies the hype train. I find most Arabic perfumes are heavy and sweet

I smell licorice the kind of licorice in the shape of a beehive, light brown , my grandmother gave me if i had a sour throat. So dutch candy HONINGDROP licorice with 🍯 honey taste.

Date syrup. Dates don't have any smell at all. But if they HAD... this is how they taste to my nose. Big medjoul dates from jordan sweet but salty.

I LOVE Raghba ❤. To me, Raghba is so sensuous and mysterious. I always feel like a femme fatale whenever I wear Raghba. Raghba is so feminine and beautiful. If my house were on fire, I would run back in to save my bottle of Raghba; I love 💕😘 Raghba THAT MUCH. Beautiful, sexy, long lasting, excellent value for money, PERFECT fragrance. This one just doesn’t suit the climate here in the PH. It’s just too strong. I prefer the Lattafa Ameer Al Oud intense oud. Contrary to the name, it’s cozier and not as smoky and thick as raghba. It also smells a lot more feminine as compared to raghba but still a very unisex perfume.

To my nose all this is is a woody men’s cologne, not one bit of sweetness. How can our noses be so different?

I hope you purchase from a reputable person because I would be willing to bet that is not the fragrance you’re speaking of, and the sample

It's not as sweet as u say at all, in general bad smell for low price

I ordered this and I must have ordered the wrong one. Because this smells horrible, it smells nothing like what you're describing.

How Anyone likes this smell is beyond me.. There's no nice smell to this only if you like burning rubber with incense thrown in. Sometimes these reviewers get it wrong soo much. Do not blind buy it. Do not buy it. It's horrible.
