I was going thru my old collection of VSH tapes and I came across a video she made called House Party which i thought was nice, Being that i never knew much about her i started looking to listen to her album. Not bad for a first time out the gate. With Neptunes blessing you with dope tracks you can't go wrong. Just wondering why no more albums?

Did this song get radio play in 2002? It was like for a few months (I remember summer time) and then it disappeared. There’s a song that I’ve been looking for since then, but haven’t been able to find the name of the song.

CreeWilly fair enough, it doesn’t always work out because not all artists are great executives. Like not all athletes are great coaches. Other examples I’ll mention: Rick Ross: Meek and Wale. J Cole and his Dreamville artists. Travis Scott is currently positioning his artists on his Cactus Jack label well such as Don Toliver. Kanye positioned Big Sean well, as well as John Legend, Common(I know he was established from the 90s but Ye extended his run) and Cudi. If the artist doesn’t succeed it’s normally because the artist they’re signed to isn’t a great executive or “coach” or and the artist uses their resources or style/sound for themselves and doesn’t help the artist put their own music out.

CreeWilly Tyga is not Drake or Nicki but he’s stayed in his strip club music lane, which has worked out for him. Yeah Drake has been accused of using Magid Jordan and Partynextdoor to help his own career but he said in that new interview that they put out their own music when they want. I don’t really see him helping any of his own artists become bigger than him like Wayne did for him though.
