'Ñ' is part of Filipino Language.
@Pitapat819

the philippines was colonized by spain for more than 300 years and it was during this time that they were given surnames so most of the surnames sound spanish. the enye (lol i can't input the symbol rn) is mostly just in names and in words adopted from spanish

Ñ is a spanish adopted by filipinoes Instead of spanish called "enye" (ñ).we usually used (nya,nyi,nyo ) Spanish _pi-ña / filipino_ pi-nya Señorita / senyorita etc. But common word santo niño/ Firstnames iñigo,niña Correct me if i missed something😊😊😊 Surnames quiñones teñoso etc...

@@WijaxJun and nothing compares to Filipino artist. artistry lyrics and feels😍😍 nakakamiss
Possibly the best ‘band song’ I’ve come across this year. I’m late to the party I know, but if not for this channel, I wouldn’t have come across The Juan’s and the captivating Janine Tenoso. Thank you Waleska.
This is one of the best band songs I've heard in such a long time. Very well performed by a band whose vocalists are truly talented and have great harmony. Love Janine a lot!💕Bravo!
The Juans' "Bakit Ito Nangyari Sa Atin" with Jeanine Teñoso is absolutely fantastic. The lyrics are super cool, applies to any relationship in the modern age. Love this performance so much. Great vocals and execution was perfect.
I don't think I've ever met anyone who is as passionate towards music as you two are. Love your whole-hearted appreciation for not only Filipino music but just Music in general. I'm the same, I could really care less if I don't understand the language, so long as the music itself speaks to me I'm good to go. 😂❤🥰
these is a song that no matter if you don"t speak the language to will totally feel the emotion and depth of its musicality...love these song so muchhhh always brings me chilllssss
I also really like latinos reacting to filipinos original songs cuz it's kinda like culture really connecting us together. Not sure if you have the same bands like this, but for sure latinos really like music. ❤️ Thank u for non stop supporting filipino singers.
I'm from the Philippines and I wouldn't know about this song without you guys!! this is amazing!!! 💕💕💕
I cried over this song several times already... Damn this song hurts... BTW, great reaction as always. Hands down the most genuine and honest "reactors" in this platform. Beside the fact that you guys watch out for the technicalities of the performance, you guys feel for the song. Truly, music is a wonderful gift that transcends language and race. Until the next video and keep safe!
you guys aren't just reactors but critiques as well (considering you guys have musical background) and i love how sincere you guys are and honestly some of the few rare ones who truly appreciate this form of art. in all your reactions (i just binged it without knowing been clicking the next videos) you guys not only react but appreciate the art of making a music from the production, arrangements, lyrical and even out of the books type of stuff like emotions. i love you guys and i hope you plan to visit the ph and see these artists. im sure they'll be glad to have a conversation with you siblings and talk about music. :) im sure waleska will be delighted to hear about techniques and all that stuff. XD
Just keep watching Waleska and Efra channel as they feature Philippine artists, like this gorgeous band, and others who are great artists. Love Janine Teñoso as she's so amazing!😘💕👏
Amazing when you discover an outstanding performance through great reactors. Thank you so much. Greetings from Down Under. Just wishing that there's English and Tagalog captions, Wish should always think that their audience is no longer just the Philippines but worldwide, with the talent the Filipinos can produce.
I feel so very proud as a Juanista. You guys are the best! Thank you for featuring my favorite band. 🥺❤️
In my province here in Batanes (northernmost group of islands in the PH), "ñ" has always been a part of our speech. (We call ourselves and our language "Ivatan") ñipen (teeth) mayñen (painful) mararani/mararañi (almost) ñiya/niya (this) sayrin/sayriñ (fishing hook) ñuy/niuy (coconut) vasiñan (weighing scale) tumañis (to cry) ☺️☺️

@@SAtW_ dude ñ is a Spanish letter. They just kept it, instead of replacing it w/ the "ny" like the tagalog people did. Remember that abc alphabet was introduced by the Spanish. We used different characters in writing before.

Thanks very much...learning these words in Batanes dialect. Good to know!
I've watched this reaction 100x over,, woow how you guys show compassion towards this musical piece,,, love you Waleska,, 💕💕💕
Nanonoot sa laman ang mga boses talaga ng The Juans.. and when Janine entered.. heaven 💚
This band is super fantastic. The Juans with Janine T. is the best current band I've listened. All the vocalists have good voices. Simply awesome! Would love to hear more from them. Their song has very meaningful lyrics.
“Hatid” for sure.my favorite song from the juans Would comment the english lyrics once you watched it! Carl is such a genius writer.
The Juans is actually a great band .. musically one of the bests! But it's just sad that they are underrated in the Philippines. Thanks guys for reacting to this! You might want to check out their song "ISTORYA" the StudioJuan version
They are really amazing especially on live ❤️
Ñ-enye is included in the Filipino alphabet decades ago. However, we don't really use it in writing. It's more of like used in surnames and some first names and a few spanish words included in the Filipino vocabulary. Example: Sto. Niño, Iñigo, Señorita. But most of the times, we replace ñ with "ny", so señorita will be spelled as senyorita, but Sto. Niño cannot be Sto. Ninyo, its a forbidden rule 😂
@thepinoychoppingboard1012
3 жыл бұрын
As long as it is a proper name, that can't be replaced.
@badlongon525
3 жыл бұрын
True.proper names with "Ñ" are kept such as Nuñez, Parañaque, Tañada... but common names that have "ñ" are changed to "ny" e.g piña to pinya, señorito to senyorito or nyorito, compaña to kumpanya.

Tbh when i was young i thought ñ is adapted to our alphabet cause it is used world wide i.e english. Cause Filipino language always do that we dont make new words for foreign words we just borrowed it and include in our vocabulary. Also "ng" that still confuse me ,its only use for "nang" to shorten it but why include in alphabet 🤔🤔🤔
@vansilleza
3 жыл бұрын
@@yaseiKen "ng" is included in Filipino alphabet, it is not the short form of "nang". Example: Nang mawalay ka sa buhay ko. Cannot rewrite "Nang" to "Ng" because the meaning will change. And it's gramatically incorrect to say "Ng mawalay ka sa buhay ko" because "Nang" here means "Noong" ("When" you went out of my life).. Noong mawalay ka sa buhay ko.
@yaseiKen
3 жыл бұрын
@@vansilleza ohh sorry i phrase it wrong, i mean when you read "ng" its "nang" but for english in example "ng" is read "ngii". So im confuse and honestly more confuse now that i think about it why it was added to the filipino alphabet. Ohh btw i know when reciting alphabet we say "N-G" but that whats confusing more hahaha
" Bakit 'to nangyari sa'tin " is a shortened or contracted form of the full sentence "Bakit ito nangyari sa atin?", and which means "Why did it or this happen to us?" or "Why it or this happened to us?". The pronoun " ito " (it, this) was shortened or contracted into just " 'to ", and the prepositional phrase " sa atin " (to us, for us, at us, on us, with us) is shortened or contracted into just " sa'tin ". 😁

First time hearing anything from this band. They really are good!!! Love the reaction from you two. BTW, good choice for the KZread Silver Play Button plaque location! Keep up the good work guys!!! Salamat!!! ✌️❤️
Unforgettable word of Efra " Oh I love him a lot" I love your reactions guys a lot. Thanks for appreciating our music OPM. Anyway, how old are you guys? You both looked like an accomplished person and sooo smart.
The fact that it made you felt it to the point you got teary eyes without even understanding the lyrics, i mean what more if you do.
Wow that song is heavenly good ., filipino singers are gem
i always rewatch your reaction .. and thank you for appreciating the filipino talent
Probably one of the most emotional song ever 😭😭
this is the first time i've seen you guys wallow to a song. while i really like listening to your comments on technicalities of music that you review, i really love when i see musicians just listen to a song and just simply enjoy it. Despite of not understanding the language, the emotion is clearly shown and you felt it too. I've been kind of out of touch with the music scene in Philippines since moving away but thank you for your vids, you guys are awesome!
Bakit ito nangyari sa atin means why did it happen to us in English I love the Juans they’re really good 💕
Hey there! Im a total fan of them (The Juans) not because they always hurt the feelings of the listeners 😅, but also they inspire everyone. I do have the same feelings as you guys! 😁 I suggest guys that you react also to their song "Hatid" Thanks! 😊
I think it fit the song’s lyrics that the main singers were in separate buses-kinda like hearing the perspectives of two people about their relationship ending.
Obviously, music is universal. It's a kind of language that does not require words to be understood. New sub from the Philippines.
@Waleska Herrera that's a legit heartfelt reactions I've just ever heard from you siblings reactors of Wishclusives of "The Juans & Janine Teñoso" collab at Wish 107 5 bus. #KeepTheWishfulFaith you've had to us Filipinos brothers&sister alike. Also, we would like you to react to our comments too - or - ❤️ it, and we will be glad.😁👍 #VivaHispanicFilipinos
Great reaction! This group was awesome!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Finally!!! The Juans!!! please react to their song "Hatid". 😍😍😍
Yeees! More The Juans please! Been waiting for your reaction to them since you started reacting to Filipino bands 😍😍 My personal favorite song of the is Hindi tayo pwede, Nasayang lang, and Itutulog na lang
Hey guys u did the right decision to make a reaction about this band!! They are so talented as ever!!
Spanish Colonization ended 121 years ago, but their influence are still here. They actually held the Philippines for 378 total years, 1521-1899. much longer than they held Mexico. Thanks for appreciating Filipino talents! Mabuhay kayo! Waleska and Efra.
The Philippines 'WAS" Hispanic territory! and Filipino culture can be considered Hispanic & Asian same time It's just an mixture. the Ñ is also included in Filipino alphabet, and Spanish was a official language in The Philippines until 1987!
This is a beautiful song!
The song is so good😍
The juans my idol band❤❤ and also janine is one of power singers here in Philippines..
Two Wish buses parked, in front of each other 3:42, the other where The Juans are and the other is where Janine is......they are in harmony...real talent there.
I do really like how quick efra is, always ready for the lyrics translation, thats nice dude 😄
I lv The Juans very much. They are the gospel singers.
I really love the way you appreciate our music. Good melody and harmony is very important to us Filipinos.
"manalangin" is my favourite song the juans .. ❣️💕
hope you'll do more reactions of The Juans and Janine Teñoso, they are such underrated artists. thank uuu :))

You are by far on the top ,,right on the very top!!! Thank you for liking Pilipino artist , salute🙏🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 wish all my Latino friend has the same accent like you,, not Brooklyn wahahahaha joke joke😂..fr the big🍎
Wow, watching it here in Australia and I'm gobsmacked, awesome talent, music and Waleska Herrera's reaction, goosebumps through and through. Just wish that they can read the Tagalog and English while watching it.
You both have sick, simple, catchy and interesting fashion taste. And the matching of your tastes are in great harmony. Makes me wanna believe that even in your judgements and opinions, you both are almost always in the same wavelength. Good job folks! Keep it up! Love lots from the Philippines! Hutch Perales
"Bakit to nangyari sa atin?" means "Why did this happen to us?" Actually "to" is a contraction of "ito" meaning "this." "Sinong sisisihin?" = "Who is to be blamed?"
they also have another collaboration, the title of the song is, "Hindi Tayo Pwede" :))
What a great song and what great artists! And, as always, on-point reaction, guys.
The fact that you didnt even know what the lyrics is about deym... if only you could literally burst in tears...
Awww. Would have not come across this band/this song if not for your reaction. Thank you!
Pinoy here, I wish you'd also listen to there song "Hindi tayo Pwede By the Juans" that's one of their famous song here in Philippines..also We do have different accents and dialects..love how you guys react🥰
@1:03 - "Do you use 'ñ' in any other words?" I'm not sure if anyone has answered this, but YES! and it's also pronounced as "enye" And it's part of our official Filipino alphabet. It's not only limited to surnames and proper nouns but also to certain words retained from Spanish language. But, because we are using American English keyboard, most of it are now typed with "ny" and accepted in both formal and informal writing. Speech is still pronounced it as "enye" both formally and informally.
Guys! The New set is sooooo dope! ♥ i love all your reactions by the way.
aha the wish bus keeps slaying haha i did not even know they had more than one bus
They're so good, yeah! I hope you watch another song of them 🙏
I just followed them on SPOTIFY. Great song! I felt that.
U guys are the best. Thanks for sharing your knowledge in music & stuff.

Stay Safe Philippines!! I heard that power is out in most places. Keep safe and God bless us all. BTW, thanks for this reaction guys. 🙏
I really love both of you because even you can't understand our language,you still love and enjoying our music......❤ For the mean of the whole song was for remembering all the past and love that been lost..🖤🖤🖤🇵🇭
Thats so amazing!
If you only understand the lyrics of the song, you would surely appreciate the performance even more. Love you both. Hope my girls would grow up with the same respect and affection that you both are showing each other.
Please react more The Juans band. They are so awesome. Specially, they are all Christian and they are love to sing worship songs. They are unique 💕
This is such a beautiful song. Filipino is so beautiful when rendered into song.
Finally, The Juans have arrived here. They have lots of great songs. You can start with "Pag-ibig Lamang"
React to HINDI TAYO PWEDE by The Juans feat. Janine Teñoso, too. That one's special.
U both look gourgeious.😍😍😍ur tagalog is cute.god bless.
All these people are church singers that's why their voices are expressive.
