Love how u 2 enjoy and express music: 1. The stringed instrument is a 'tambura' or 'tanboura', a traditional balochi/nomadic istrument. 2. That board is a 'linnstrument', a MIDI controller. 3. We dont listen to a lot of latin or reggaeton in Pakistan, but the folk beats in the south (balochistan/sindh) are a lot of times 3/4s and said to be inspired by how camels move so a genuis like coke studio and the people behind it gave it different global flavors this time and fusion music is a big thing in Pakistan.

Pakistani music in the recent years has evolved a lot, you’ll find all kinds of music genres here. Coke studio specifically is a mix of Pakistani folk music and contemporary urban with a lot of diverse instruments from within Pakistan as well as all over the world, the thing that I love most is how they put young talent and experienced artists in one room and make a masterpiece and how they bring everyone together, this season has been phenomenal so far in terms of music, art and cinematography, it showcases the true Pakistani spirit of music which is staying true to the culture and putting in the modern touch. React to pasoori guys, you’ll absolutely love it!

so in Pakistan Latin music is not that popular in older generations but nowadays Latin music is getting very popular, but it's still underground. some exceptions are Shakira, Maluma, Enrique etc. they all are very famous. Kpop and anime music are more popular but latin music is very popular nevertheless.

This time around, Coke Studio Pakistan is not creating music, but creating history for the generations to come. There is no doubt that Pakistan has a lot of surprises in store for the entire world. This season of Coke Studio is surely on 🔥🔥🔥This is a Baluchi song, and the language mainly hails from the province of Baluchistan in Pakistan, and is also spoken in parts of Iran and Oman. Two different types of Baluchi language dialects were showcased in this song, one type was from Abdul Wahab Bugti (the guy wearing the turban & singing) who is from Baluchistan, whereas the other one was from Kaifi Khalil & Eva B, they both are from a place called Lyari in Karachi (Pakistan), where we have a mixed community of Baluchis, Sindhis, and Makranis. That was a lovely reaction though, hope to see more reactions from you 2, take care, stay safe, cheers!!!

Coke Studio is giving chance to new young and upcoming artists hence there’s not much information on them. This type of music is not traditional music. They are bringing different types of music to Pakistan. This is the idea of Coke Studio. Look at the earlier versions and you will see this over a decade ago.

The instrument is ''Rubaab''. The language is Balochi; Pakistani-Persian. Yes, we have Persian ancestors too. Pakistani artists don't focus on commercialisation, they focus on quality. Some of the best singers you will find are perhaps singing at home right now and they remain unknown. I'm from England but I have cousins in Pakistan so I do understand a lot of the culture there. It is considered a fail if you are a recording artist but you cant sound just as good on cue and live whenever asked. Music is taken very seriously over there.

Hi Guys. So The Turbaned Guy is Waheed Bugti from the Pakistani Province of Balochistan, and speaks Balochi in Sibbi dialect. The Young man Kaifi is from Karachi's Lyari area the birthplace of Pakistani Rap. He is speaking Gawadari Balochi as well as Eva, who is also from Lyari. Waheed's instrument is called Damboora, also called Tanboora in other parts. Spanish music, language and culture is steeped in remnants of the Moors as they call the Muslim rulers who were in that area for 990 years. That Arab influence is evident in their melodies. The Arab countries are geographically closer so the crossover of musicality is more frequent and obvious. Dudes you have Mehram, and Pasoori, two other great numbers awaiting your delight. In Mehram is two times Grammy nominee Arooj Aftab. I want to see you react on that. Pasoori is another audio visual treat. Blessings

It's not that popular, but Coke Studio and Nescafe has been bringing in these instruments to create all those sounds, although the music does have a lot of similarities with Indians, although the things that you have mentioned kind off give Pakistani music uniqueness from it's predecessor Indian Music, bringing those religious cultures into play that comes both from Arab, Iranian, and Turkish cultures alike. So it's a blend of everything a lil bit, at the same time Pakistan has also a lot of diversity and their instruments also play a great role in these sounds, which comes under the general umbrella of what I have said above! It's all of intricacies of sounds when comes to Coke studio, diversifying the already established frameworks!

11:35 i know maloma i have seen him in one ricky martins song. Ricky martin had been very popular here so his song ventepaca...i saw maloma n kinda liked him. Pakistanis doesnt listen to latin music as we dont know latin or hispanic languages. During colonalization period, arab world was under influence of latin n spain portugal etc...in indian subcontinent britishers came, so india Pakistan know english n its spoken here. Yet we know some singers n listen their songs like Ricky Martin, Enrique igaliasis, Shakira n overall i myself like latin music much. Coz I think its beautiful. I had even songs from "Evita" movie which had latin vibes

Eyup... Maluma is one of my absolute favorites (His rhythm is great) and J Balvin and a few others are so popular in Pakistan. I remember a huge craze for Despacito in Pakistan when I was there and Bailando was another one of my big favs.
