Me screaming Finally!!! You should check out their "Fix You" cover... I also suggest hopefully you can make a Philippines Reggae Special. You can start with the Filipino reggae legend Tropical Depression. You can add up Brownman Revival, Chocolate Factory and Kokoi Baldo and The farmers band.

Brownman Revival- Binibini, Lintik na Pag-ibig, etc. Non-reggae: SUD- Baliw, Sila, Di Makatulog

Efra figured it out. Reggae does sound good in Tagalog!

Tropical Depression was a popular reggae band in the Philippines in the 90's. You might want to check some of their songs. I suggest "Bilog na naman ang buwan". Pu3ska is a ska band from the 90's. You might like to check their song "Manila Girl". These are some of the awesome bands we watched in clubs and festivals during the 90's. I feel so old.😭😂

another reggae group from the Philippines, the.Brownman Revival with their song Lintik na Pag.ibig Myx live

They are from Pampanga here in PH. They had a regular gig here in a local bar before the pandemic. They are a great band and take requests from guests in the bar and they make it into reggae sometimes. I miss those days. Drinking beer while listening to them. ☺️

Can you guys check out SUD, a Filipino alt-soul band. Reggae is popular in tourist destinations here in the Philippines given that there's plenty of beaches here.. but one of the most unpopular reggae but the BEST I've seen performed is the band TROPICAL DEPRESSION. Their song "bilog na naman ang buwan" is what made me appreciate reggae. They used to perform in small pub called Bside, with live DJs as well. We would go there every sunday cause sunday night is reggae night. Other nights, the place would turn into rap freestyle etc. They still operate until pandemic. Good old days. But yeah, check them out if you wanna listen more to filipino reggae.

Oh man, Chocolate Factory has a lot of great songs. No hits, all misses. Then there's also "Lintik" by Brownman Revival. That is a BOP.

I like them! First time I saw them, really. But I've heard the song before....Anyway, for reggae, there was a '90s band called TROPICAL DEPRESSION that became a hit with "Bilog na Naman ang Buwan". There's the younger band BROWNMAN REVIVAL. Then there's KOKOI BALDO who impressed everyone in THE VOICE blind auditions. He's since recorded his own songs.

At last! It's REGGAE time now, yah man!!! Told you so, you're gonna love PINOY REGGAE! As islanders, generally, Pinoys do love this kind of sound. There's also Visayan and other types of local Pinoy Reggae. More to watch, mates! Enjoy=)
