From June 3-6, 2024, SOA Hispanoamérica hosted the inaugural Latinoamérica Azul event, a youth leadership conference held in collaboration with Immersed in Change in Costa Rica in anticipation of the 2025 UN Ocean Conference.
Focused on ocean conservation and youth empowerment in the region, 100 Spanish-speaking young ocean leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean were in attendance.
