Sarah Lynch noo me too!! i have really thin nails and they used to peel and break all the time but i got a crystal/glass file and it really helped with the shape and peeling. and since my nails were also very weak i would recommend to have them painted until they grow a little because i found that when they grow longer they also grow stronger. and ofc I’d also recommend jojoba oil! if you want to grow them you should also check it simplynailogical or any KZread channel that’s about nails ♥️♥️

There is a special way to take off the contacts with long nails :) look up a KZread tutorial it helped me.. And yes those nails are so lit! 😍

*Tip tho* : you can ask the nail place to file the nails on one hand shorter if you’re a musician. My mom loves her acrylics but is also in a mariachi band. Be sure to ask nicely as not all places may do this, and leave a tip! :)

adventuresofkt I do my own acrylics, but because I play the guitar I only put tips on the right hand and leave the left short. I wear long pointed ones and I felt lopsided at first but now it’s just part of my style. I also used to try and make both hands have the same design despite the different lengths but I gave up at some point and so I just do them in a complimentary colour to my right. The right hand is the only one worth showing off for me anyway.
